Keri Russell is abs-olutely fabulous.

The Americans star credits her "nerdy workout" – complete with personalized soundtrack! – for helping her stay slim and impressively toned.

Russell, 37, tells Women's Health in its May cover story that she has "this really nerdy workout I do in my walk-through closet in our brownstone. I do a workout video and use my own music – whatever is inspiring to me at that time, like Alabama Shakes, the Cure, or Mumford and Sons."

Plus, she says residing in Brooklyn offers a bonus workout – walking!

That much was clear in the very first scene of The Americans on Wednesday night, as Keri Russell was shown in an extremely compromising position with a Department of Justice agent. Long gone is that sweet college girl from the '90s.

In the new FX drama, Russell, 36, and Matthew Rhys play suburban parents who are actually KGB agents, living in the early-'80s Washington, D.C.

In the first photos of Keri Russell's daughter, 2-week-old Willa Lou is safe and sound (and apparently snoozing!) in dad Shane Deary's arms outside the family's apartment in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Missing from the family affair: Russell, 35, who stepped out with a slender post-baby body earlier this week, and big brother River, 4½.

Keri Russell Expecting Second Child

Keri Russell is expanding her family.

The actress, 35, and husband Shane Deary are expecting their second child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The new addition will join the couple's son River, 4.

Russell, who most recently starred in Running Wilde, says she enjoys the balance between work and home that acting offers.

"I get to work really hard for three months but then I get to be home for four months where I get to put him to bed every night," she has said.

Keri Russell: I Was in Labor for 38 Hours

Keri Russell got some much-deserved sympathy from the ladies of The View on Friday, when she revealed that she was in labor for 38 hours when she gave birth to her son, River Russell Deary, in June.

"It was intense... It was a long time. But it all worked out okay," she said.

Also impressing the panel on Friday? Russell's slim figure five months after delivering.
