Kourtney Kardashian Celebrated at Weekend Baby Shower

Kourtney Kardashian was surrounded by the most important people in her life – her family – as she was celebrated with a baby shower in L.A. over the weekend.
Kardashian, 33, is expecting her second child with boyfriend Scott Disick. This time, the parents of 2-year-old son Mason are having a girl.
The shower, a luncheon held on Saturday, was hosted by Kardashian's famous sisters, including Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner, according sources.

London may be Kalling the Kardashians.
Khloé Kardashian's husband Lamar Odom is working out with a trainer four to six hours a day to get in shape for a possible spot on the U.S. Olympic basketball team.
Once seen as a long-shot after flaming out with the Dallas Mavericks this season, Odom's chances improved because of recent injuries to such stars as Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, Chauncy Billups of the Los Angeles Clippers and Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic.
"Given the injuries," writes USA Today, "Odom might get another look."
That would certainly be Kardashian's wish.

Get too close to her family and you might just hear Khloé Kardashian growl.
"I have always been like a mama lion and I have treated my family like they are my cubs," Kardashian, 27, tells PEOPLE. "I'm the same way with my baby sisters, older sisters, brother, and now my husband."
Kardashian, who is taking a break from her show with husband Lamar Odom, adds, "It is just something that I was born with I guess. I'm incredibly over-protective."

Khloé Kardashian has gotten used to sharing her life on television, but now the reality star and her husband Lamar Odom are stepping back from the spotlight.
"We just wanted to prioritize a little," Kardashian, 27, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview as the couple tables their show Khloé & Lamar until his basketball career is back on track. "We just wanted a little pause. Part of being married is knowing when your husband needs your support."
While Kardashian says she always made sure cameras weren't around during days when Lamar, 32, had a basketball game (he's currently sitting out the season after a difficult trade to Dallas), now that they'll only be appearing on E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and their own daily lives will no longer be on display, "there's less pressure on us."

The Kardashian sisters are staying drama-free in N.Y.C.! Kim, a pregnant Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian stepped out for a family meal at New York's Hurricane Club with their significant others – Kanye West, Scott Disick and Lamar Odom, respectively. And Rob Kardashian didn't miss out on the festivities at the Polynesian-themed eatery, either.
"They all seemed to be in a very relaxed, calm mood," a source says of the large group, which also included Kelly Osbourne. The group shared an array of appetizers (known as "Pupu") and cocktails, including one drink for the group that was served in a watermelon. "It seemed like a nice family dinner to start the week."
According to the source, at various points throughout the evening, they would all get up and pose for their own photos. Kim and Kanye were smiling together, and he doted on her from his seat at the head of the table. Khloé and Lamar, who just announced they were taking a break from their reality show, were more subdued but still seemed to be having a good time together. Says the source: "[They were] sitting close – whispering."

Sometimes you've got to get away from reality TV to get real.
So say Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom in addressing rumors that E! pulled the plug on their show, Khloé and Lamar.
"Our show is not cancelled," Kardahsian, 27, tells "Lamar and I have chosen ... to take a break this summer. ... We just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now."

Will Khloé and Lamar be back for another season? Depends on how the basketball bounces.
A rep for Kardashian says that reports that E! pulled the plug on the reality show featuring Khloé her NBA player husband are incorrect.
"It has NOT been cancelled," the rep tells PEOPLE. "It’s just on hold now while schedules are figured out. It will depend on their schedules, as Lamar’s basketball schedule is a priority."

New couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West joined Kourtney Kardashian in celebration of her beau Scott Disick's new Japanese restaurant Monday night.
Also enjoying the family affair: mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall, 16, and Kylie Jenner, 14.
Although she's played coy about the status of her relationship with the rapper, 34, since stepping out together earlier this month, the two were photographed holding hands as they left Ryu, located in New York's trendy Meatpacking District.

Khloé Kardashian: There Is a Reason We Don't Have a Baby

Khloé Kardashian doesn't like to address tabloid rumors – but when the rumor is not only false, but personal, she'll speak up.
"Lamar [Odom] and I do want kids and it will happen when it's in God's plan to happen," the reality star told the hosts of CBS's The Talk on Thursday, reacting to false rumors that she recently suffered a miscarriage.
Kardashian said Odom's recent career changes – being traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks and then leaving the Mavs – have not been conducive to starting a family.
"With the trade – moving back and forth – there is a reason we don't have a newborn baby right now," she said.

Khloé Kardashian Says Kim & Kanye West Are 'Cute Together'

Khloé Kardashian supports her sister Kim's budding relationship with Kanye West – which is more than she did with Kim's whirlwind 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.
"Honestly, we've known Kanye forever," she tells Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "He's been a great family friend. I love Kanye."
Though she shies away from explicitly confirming that her sister is dating the rapper, Khloé did say: "I think they're cute together. ... I think friendship is where good relationships stem from."
As for her sister's marriage, Khloé says she tried to warn Kim before her wedding that she didn't think it was a good match.
