Wednesday's CMA Awards were peppered with a solid amount of non-country types, leading many audience members and those watching at home to do comic spit-takes with whatever they were drinking at the moment and exclaim, "WHHHHHAAAAAA?" (Possibly.)

Alhough Freddie Prinze Jr. progressed from teen hits like She's All That and I Know What You Did Last Summer in the 1990s to a role in the TV thriller 24 in 2010, apparently he couldn't leave the high school-style drama behind.
According to Prinze, working with Kiefer Sutherland on the popular show nearly led him to quit acting altogether.

Yvonne Strahovski appears in two shows Monday night. Isn't that wonderful? It is if you happen to be a Strahovski enthusiast, as I am.
It may even be more wonderful if you don't know her yet, and take the opportunity to watch FOX's 24: Live Another Day, premiering at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and the second of two back-to-back episodes of FX's Louie, which begins a new season at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
I first became intrigued by this Australian actress during season 7 of Showtime's Dexter, starring Michael C. Hall. She played serial killer Dexter Morgan's soul mate, Hannah McKay. Hannah also had a string of murders to her credit, but she killed with rational premeditation, not for kinky satisfaction.

Benedict Cumberbatch proves there's an upside to accepting an award via satellite – wearing what you want from the waist down!
The British actor, 37, won the U.K. National Television Award for best TV detective for his portrayal of a brilliant and lovably-sociopathic Sherlock Holmes in the hit BBC television series Sherlock on Thursday, but accepted his award from Los Angeles.
"Hello from LA … I'm over the moon. I can't tell you what this means," he said. "This is a vote by the public and you are the people that have made this the success of what it is. It's a real, real, real thrill and I wish I was there to pick up the award in person."

Kiefer Sutherland might be taking his guitar on tour soon – to play with his dog.
The Touch star posted a video of his talented pooch on Twitter over the weekend, showing off the dog's made-for-Internet musical gifts.
"Even the dog can sing better than me," he wrote.
