The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards entered rehab last week to seek treatment for alcohol abuse and "other problems," a source tells PEOPLE.
"Kim has been to rehab more than once before," says the source, "but every time is a new time, and everyone just hopes this sticks and that she gets the help she needs. It's serious."
Richards has been "erratic. Everyone was really worried about her," says the source, who adds that Richards is not living with Ken, the boyfriend who was introduced as her love interest this season.

Taylor Armstrong has been through so much – physical abuse, the suicide of her estranged husband and the public drama of it all on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which played out on Monday's episode in a major way after she got into an intense fight with a friend of her costar Camille Grammer.
Now, she says, she wants to support someone else who is facing personal problems: her friend Kim Richards, who recently entered rehab.
"I adore Kim and I stand behind her," Armstrong told Andy Cohen Monday night on his Bravo talk show, Watch What Happens Live. "And if there's anything I can do to support her [I will]; but if she's getting healthy what more could we ask."

More real-life drama for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Kim Richards has entered rehab.
Multiple sources have confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Richards, 47, is seeking treatment.
On last season's finale, Richards battled it out with her sister Kyle, who called her an alcoholic.
In October, new costar Brandi Glanville accused Kim of being "wasted out of her f---ing mind" during a game-night episode. Kim strongly denied it during a shouting match that became one of the show's biggest fights so far this season.

Don't mess with the Richards sisters!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star siblings showed why they make explosive TV on Monday night's episode when they came close to blows with new costar Brandi Glanville during a game night gone horribly wrong.
After Kim muttered insults and Kyle laughed out loud at her expense, Brandi accused Kim of being "wasted out of her f––ing mind."
That set Kim and Kyle off. During the altercation, Kim called her a "god– b–," "pathetic" and a "slut pig." Kyle told her to "watch her mouth," and questioned her parenting skills for having seen her little boy urinate in the grass at a recent pool party.

After much speculation, uncertainty and even criticism over how The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills would return to TV following the recent suicide of Real Housewife Taylor Armstrong's estranged husband, Russell, Bravo has reached a decision about the upcoming premiere: the show will go on.
"Bravo will proceed with the Monday, September 5 premiere date of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Bravo Media President Frances Berwick said in a statement.
"Given that these episodes were filmed months ago, the producers of the show taped a brief interview this week with several cast members to introduce the premiere," the statement continues. "Re-editing of the episodes is still underway."

Since their nasty blowout on season finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim and Kyle Richards are picking up the pieces of their relationship and putting it back together.
"[It's] a day-by-day thing that we work on [because] what happened was extremely painful," Kim Richards, 46, told PEOPLE at Bravo's upfront presentation in Los Angeles. "It's not going to cure itself over night and hopefully we will grow past all that happened and move forward and get stronger and stronger."
While the fight was certainly regrettable, Kyle, 42, sees things differently now. "I'm very proud. I can only say for myself, but I learned a lot about our relationship," Kyle said. "I've learned a lot about myself and I feel like our relationship was strengthened maybe because of what happened."

It shouldn't have gone so far – or become so ugly.
So says Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards of her nasty blowout that left her on the serious skids with sister Kim in the season finale.
"The events that transpired that evening were quite unfortunate and should never have occurred on or off camera," the reality star, 42, said in a statement released Friday by Bravo. "There are a lot of elements to the story that viewers didn’t see."

Did anyone see that coming?
Didn't Thursday's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season finale seem more like an episode of Intervention crossed with an intensely personal family soap opera than any Housewives season finale we've ever seen?
This wasn't a table-flip. Or an uncomfortable group dinner.
At the end of Thursday's episode, sisters Kim and Kyle Richards seemed to have shredded their relationship during a blowout fight in a limo. At first it seemed that the ladies were sniping at each other about things we've seen on camera this season – Kim supposedly not supporting Kyle in her feud with Camille Grammer, for instance – but clearly this cut much deeper.
