Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley were great friends, and great partners on Dancing with the Stars. But the good times, it seems, are over – and it may have to do, in a roundabout way, with Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez is rumored to be dating Chmerkovskiy, though neither has confirmed the relationship. And she is also best friends with Leah Remini, the ex-Scientologist whom Alley – a Scientologist herself – recently called a "bigot" for remarks she made after leaving the church.
Thus, according to Chmerkovskiy, Alley believes he's getting to be friends with the wrong people.

Call it déjá vu dieting. Kirstie Alley has signed on to be a spokesperson for Jenny Craig – again.
Seven years after parting ways with the weight-loss company, the actress, 63, returns to Jenny Craig commercials after putting on 30 lbs. in the last six months.
"I was good for a while and then I wasn’t good, and the weight crept up," Alley tells PEOPLE. "Like I say in the ad, I'm not circus fat. I didn’t hugely screw up. I didn’t gain 75. I gained 30."

Country icon Wynonna's size is no laughing matter.
Despite playfully telling Tuesday's Good Morning America audience about signing on to Dancing with the Stars so that she can get down to her birth weight, the singer says her health has actually become a growing concern.
"This is a great diversion for me, because it will focus on self-care, which for women – especially working as hard as I do – we forget to put ourselves on the list," Wynonna, 48, told PEOPLE shortly after it was announced she'd be joining the cast of ABC's hit show. "This will force me to take care of myself."

Dancing with the Stars fans know better than to doubt Maksim Chmerkovskiy's desire to win the coveted mirror-ball trophy.
But while the Ukrainian-born dancer has made it to the final round of the immensely popular dance show four times in his 13 seasons, his elimination from the all-star competition came with an almost welcome whimper.
"There's no sting, no sting at all," Chmerkovskiy, attending the launch event for Kimberly Snyder's juice bar Glow Bio in West Hollywood, tells PEOPLE about Wednesday's elimination, which sent him and partner Kirstie Alley home.

Peta Murgatroyd is looking at the glass half full.
Although the ballroom pro was wiping away tears backstage after she and partner Gilles Marini were eliminated on Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars, Murgatroyd, 26, is excited to spend time with boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who was also eliminated alongside his partner, Kirstie Alley.
"We get to sleep in tomorrow morning probably, and go have breakfast, which we have not done for months," Murgatroyd told PEOPLE. "So, there's a plus side."

Another era of Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy has come to an end.
Arguably the goofiest duo on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars, Alley, 61, and Chmerkovskiy, 32, kept the jokes coming, even after being sent home during Tuesday night's double-elimination.
When asked how she managed to tame her bad-boy partner, Alley told PEOPLE with a laugh, "Tranquilizers. Horse tranquilizers because human ones didn't work."

It was another week of double trouble on Dancing with the Stars.
Two all-star couples got the boot on Tuesday night, following Monday's Veteran's Day tribute.
Combining their scores from Monday and the previous elimination-free week, Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were again in the bottom spot, just below Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff.
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd were uncharacteristically in the bottom three.
