Who says you have to be a country singer to emcee the CMT awards?
Kristen Bell will be joining nominee Toby Keith for hosting duties at the 11th annual awards on June 6, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
"It's an honor to get that call," says seven-time CMT winner Keith, 50, about being asked back to host to show. He and Pamela Anderson co-hosted in 2003.
Bell, who will be escorted to Nashville by fiancé Dax Shepherd (sans sloth), is already eager to make her first trip to Music City.
"Country music makes me happy," the actress, 31, tells PEOPLE. And she's most excited about meeting her co-host – and the possibility of coming face to face with her country crush, Miranda Lambert.

Kristen Bell has a thing for sloths – by now, the whole world knows this.
The actress outed herself as an extreme sloth enthusiast this week when she told Ellen DeGeneres the story of how she suffered an all-out meltdown after fiancé Dax Shepard surprised her with a sloth visit for her birthday. What's there to love – so much – about the tree-dwelling animals?
"Whenever I'm feeling down, I Google 'baby sloth videos,'" she once said. "I challenge you to do it right now if you're in a bad mood and not absolutely have a smile on your face."

Kristen Bell promises she had an amazing 31st birthday – even though she spent part of it weeping.
The star's fiancé, Dax Shepard, surprised her with a sloth at the couple's home, but before Bell could even meet the creature, she somehow sensed its presence.
"I immediately was overcome and thought, 'There's a sloth near,'" she told Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday's episode of her talk show. "And I didn't know how to process that because my entire life had been waiting for this moment, where I would get to interact with a sloth."

Was it a misnomer – or did Kristen Bell have some very happy news to share?
On Wednesday night, the actress, who is engaged to actor Dax Shepard, Tweeted a photo of him watching American Idol with a (possibly) revealing caption.
"My adorable husband, @daxshepard1 voting 4 his favorite american idol. Over and over again," she wrote.

Some dread turning 30. Kristen Bell, on the other hand, discovered the birthday milestone was anything but daunting.
"I love 30 more than I've ever loved anything. I feel like I was born on my 30th birthday," the actress, who celebrated the big day on July 18, tells Parade magazine. "It's finally the time where I've fully accepted and loved myself, which I'm realizing more and more each day."
For a long time, Bell says she went through a phase where she beat herself up trying to be perfect. But, "I just thought, 'What's the point?' ... I'm not going to be as rough on myself as I used to ... I think now I'm just happy."

In a new spot to preview this year's MTV Movie Awards, which Ansari will host, stars like Zac Efron, Kristen Bell and Diddy all reveal embarrassing (and hilarious) baby photos of the Parks and Recreation star. Plus, they share the real stories behind the pictures – like that time Ansari was stuck under a television set for six years.
Maybe you just have to watch it to understand.

But Butler was a main attraction too: The Scottish actor, in a dapper suit, was bombarded with adoring women as he settled in to welcome his guests.
