Until she welcomes her new addition with fiancé Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell has her hands full with another little one: her dog.

And it looks like she'll have plenty of practice in the disciplinary department.

"The thief absconded with my body pillow," the expectant House of Lies actress Tweeted of her dog's misbehavior, "the[n] proceeded to act as though nothing was wrong."

For Dax Shepard of TV's Parenthood, life and love boil down to a matter of putting things into perspective.

Take his fiancée of more than two years, for instance. "If Brad Pitt gets Kristen Bell, it's like, 'Well, of course he did,' " says Shepard, 37.

"With me, it should be, 'Oh good, a normal-looking guy got her. Maybe I'll get me a Kristen Bell.' But guys hate my guts for always dating women I have no right to be with."

Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Flirt the Night Away at Private Screening

Apparently Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard can't get enough of each other.

Aside from living together, Bell also stars in Hit & Run, a film directed and written by Shepard – and when they came out to a special screening of the movie on Wednesday at the Downtown Independent Theater, it was clear the engaged couple's flame has not died down.

During the Q & A for screening guests, "Dax lifted Kristen up and gave her a really affectionate kiss," an onlooker tells PEOPLE at the Brancott Estate Wines-hosted viewing. "At one point, Dax said to her, 'Shouldn't you be saying something really adorably cute right now? You're so good at that.' "

The source adds that Bell, who shared soda and popcorn with her fiancé until the screening started, told the audience having him as a boss was tough because, "If you think Dax Shepard the actor is cute, you wouldn't be able to handle it!"
