Oklahoma's star contingent is showing its love for the victims of the recent deadly tornado that killed 24 people and injured 240.
Among the many generous showbiz names is Carrie Underwood, who on Thursday announced a $1 million donation to the Red Cross from her "Blown Away" tour's concert receipts.
"I have watched the devastation in my home state of Oklahoma over the past several days with great sadness," Underwood said in a statement. "With the help of my fans who attended my concerts over the past year, we can offer the Red Cross a little extra help in comforting those affected by the recent tornados."

Hosting the Oscars, they say, is a thankless job. So, Seth MacFarlane, thanks for nothing.
This isn't to say he can be blamed for a long evening that seemed to be devoted more to singing than handing out awards.
On the other hand, he doesn't get credit for the show's best moments, either: Adele's powerful performance of "Skyfall," Daniel Day-Lewis's charmingly stiff humor in his acceptance speech for Lincoln – it was so like Abe! – or Michelle Obama's surprising and generous gesture: appearing via satellite to announce the Best Picture winner.

Kristin Chenoweth and her Maltese Maddie are a high-flying team – most of the time.
The actress was recently departing a flight from Dallas, Texas, when an American Airlines attendant refused her entry on board the plane because of her canine companion.
Though Chenoweth insisted she had all of the necessary paperwork, the airline employee went on to scold the star in front of other passengers at the boarding gate, before an official realized a mistake had been made and allowed the actress and Maddie to board.
