First comes the sound of wedding bells, and next comes the baby rattle.
Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell, who became engaged on Independence Day in 2011 and married Jan. 7 in upstate New York, are now expecting a child.
"Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY!" she wrote on Twitter Friday. "We feel so blessed!!!"
"Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning," Scott, 26, previously said of her new husband. "He makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin."

Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood.
"We will be married this year," Haywood told PEOPLE before performing at the Oreo Cookies 100th birthday celebration in Los Angeles last week. What's more, he adds: "I enjoy the wedding planning and setting up where everything is going to be."
Haywood, 29, popped the question to girlfriend Kelli Cashiola, 29, a VP of Marketing/Brand Management for Warner Music Nashville, this past December with an elaborate winter-wonderland proposal.

After several years of women ruling the show, the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards could be a night for the guys.
Kenny Chesney earned the most nominations with nine, followed by Jason Aldean with six. Both are up for entertainer of the year. Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton are also nominated in that marquee category, with Taylor Swift the lone woman in the group. (Swift won last year, following back-to-back wins by Carrie Underwood.)
Paisley earned four nominations in all, while Swift leads all women with three. Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert each earned two. Lady Antebellum is the leading group nominee with five nominations. Eli Young Band, Toby Keith and Grace Potter each received three nominations.

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell have tied the knot!
"I'd like to introduce you to Mrs. Hillary Scott Tyrrell," Chris, who popped the question at sunset in East Tennessee last Fourth of July weekend, says in a video posted to Lady Antebellum's official website.
"We got married!" Scott, 25, says as she flashes a wedding ring. "We just wanted you to hear it from us first. We love you. We're so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news."

Dave Haywood wrapped up his Christmas shopping early – and even got a jump on Santa Claus – surprising girlfriend Kelli Cashiola with a marriage proposal on Monday evening, a rep for the Lady Antebellum musician confirms to PEOPLE.
Haywood, 29, made his gal's favorite holiday one she'll never forget by staging an elaborate setup to pop the question.
After picking Cashiola – VP of Marketing/Brand Management for Warner Music Nashville – up from her Music Row office, the musician asked her to slip on a blindfold as they turned onto her street. Once inside her home, Cashiola was delighted to discover that while she was at work, Haywood had transformed every room into a sparkling winter wonderland.

How do country's biggest stars prep for the CMT Artists of the Year show? With some southern-style cooking, of course!
This year's crop of honorees – Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Jason Aldean – all chowed down on a feast prepared by Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard prior to the show, which airs Tuesday (9 p.m. ET on CMT).
"For the dinner, I wanted to show my style of cooking but have influence from the artists and Nashville," Izard told PEOPLE of the three-course meal, complete with wine pairings. (See the full menu below.)
Using notes from each musician, the Top Chef winner created a meal tailor-made for the stars.
"Taylor Swift loves sausage and gravy from Cracker Barrel, so we did mini biscuits with goat and pork gravy," Izard, who owns the Chicago restaurant the Girl & the Goat, said. (She also personally met Swift because, Izard explains, "All of the young guys that work for me would have been disappointed had I not!")

He was the remaining single member of the Lady Antebellum trio.
But now Dave Haywood is in a twosome of his own – he's getting serious with girlfriend Kelli Cashiola, his rep tells PEOPLE.
The pair have been dating for six months, but have been friends for about five years.
"I feel so lucky that our long friendship has grown into this relationship," Haywood, 29, says. "We are totally comfortable and ourselves with each other."
Cashiola, 29, who works in marketing at Warner Music Group, recently joined her musician boyfriend for a weekend in Paris while the band was overseas promoting their third album, Own the Night.

A live performance at her upcoming nuptials sounds like the ultimate wedding gift from her Lady Antebellum band mates, but it didn't make Hillary Scott's wish list.
"I'm not asking them to sing or play an instrument. I'm not putting anybody I love to work on my wedding day," she tells December's Redbook magazine, referring to fellow country crooners Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley.
"I even told our band and crew that I know it's a weekend off that we would normally have, so if they want to take a vacation and not come, they're not going to hurt my feelings."

Lady Antebellum log a lot of together time on the road, where the trio share living quarters on the tour bus – but sometimes even best friends need a breather. For the group, that means spending a little alone time at their new Nashville homes.
The trio, who just released their third album, Own the Night, open their doors in the latest PEOPLE Country issue, showing off Hillary Scott's renovated bungalow (decorated with flea market finds and TJ Maxx deals), Charles Kelley's 2,700-sq- ft. colonial ("It's not too big, so it's manageable and perfect for us," he says) and Dave Haywood's 900-sq.-ft. urban loft (complete with windowless bedroom "so when I get off the bus, I can grab a few more hours of sleep in the middle of the day if I need to," he says).
