Though her days of battling Kristen Cavallari and Speidi in the realm of reality TV are officially behind her, no way is Lauren Conrad headed for the unemployment line. But she doesn't expect to run up the aisle to collect an Oscar, either.

The former The Hills star, best-selling author, fashion designer and spokesperson spent her week launching a second clothing line and finalizing a deal to convert her semi-autobiographical novel L.A Candy into a feature film.

"I think my acting is offensive!" Conrad, 23, tells PEOPLE in response to a question of whether she'd consider playing the movie version of Jane Roberts, the heroine of her novel. "I'm an awful actor, I'm not super comfortable with it. In fact I was just trying to do lines … and they'll tell you, I cannot memorize lines."

Lauren Conrad was feeling the love with boyfriend Kyle Howard at new West Hollywood nightspot MI-6, where the couple was spotted making out and flirting on the dancefloor. But when the former Hills star ended up seated near her old nemesis – Kristin Cavallari – there might as well have been tumbleweeds blowing between the two women. The frenemies shot glares back and forth as Conrad texted on her phone and whispered with pal Lo Bosworth, who had Frankie Delgado for backup.

He's done it again.

Onetime Hills star Jason Wahler is stewing in a Yakima County, Wash., jail after being nabbed in Seattle on assault and a related drinking charge on Sept. 25, RadarOnline reports.

Familiar words for those who remember his 30-day sentence for getting in a drunken brawl in 2007 in a Seattle hotel – or that incident in 2006, when he was sentenced to two months in jail for battery after punching a tow-truck driver and city employee while shouting ethnic slurs and boasting a blood-alcohol level of .22 percent.

There are many things most people would rather not dwell upon when considering the facts behind the marriage between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, perhaps the most reviled pairing in reality TV.

Thank God sex isn't really a fact in their marriage, according to Pratt.

Speaking to the New York Post"'s PopWrap on Tuesday, Pratt, 26, says that he's tried to prevent Montag, 23, from realizing her dreams of becoming a young mother – by refusing her sex.

She's already a reality TV star, designer and author, but Lauren Conrad may soon be adding "producer" to her resume.

The Hills star, 23, whose debut novel L.A. Candy topped the New York Times Best Seller list, could be taking the book to the big screen.

"Lauren's goal is to get into producing – it always was," a source tells PEOPLE. "It was always to make L.A. Candy into a film or TV show. She's been in talks about it"

And while "no deal [is] in place just yet," adds the source, "that's her ultimate goal."

She said goodbye to The Hills but Lauren Conrad is still a fan favorite: Her debut novel, L.A. Candy, has topped the New York Times Best Seller list two weeks in a row.

"If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it," Conrad tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I am so honored that it is now a reality."

The novel, loosely based on Conrad's own life, follows of Jane Roberts, a 19-year-old girl who moves to Hollywood and ends up as the star of her own reality show.

Lauren Conrad won't be going under the knife anytime soon – and it's all in the name of fashion.

"You know what, I prefer a flatter-chested look," Conrad, 23, tells Access Hollywood. "That's just kind of me. I think it's more of a fashion look. If you look at a lot of high-fashion models and things like that, they're always you know, a little flatter ... I like the way clothes fit better."

"Big boobs?" she adds, "No I mean ... that's what wonder bras are for!"
