Leeza Gibbons: I Count My Blessings – Not My Stretch Marks
Originally posted 02/06/2013 07:30PM
When TV personality Leeza Gibbons married Steven Fenton in 2011, she joked that she was finally embracing "my inner cougar" – on their first date he was 38 and she was 51.
Now approaching their two-year anniversary in April, Gibbons has given a little more thought to the dynamics of their relationship and concludes that "the term cougar has so much energy around it that doesn't really fit."
"We laugh about it all the time," Gibbons, now 55, tells PEOPLE. (Fenton is a longtime talent manager and former president of the Board of Education in Beverly Hills.) "I always joke that emotionally and with regard to maturity, he's much older than I am."

Originally posted 04/22/2011 10:00AM
Leeza Gibbons has some big news, but the TV personality has been keeping it all in the family – until now.
Gibbons, 54, quietly wed Steven Fenton, 41, at midnight Wednesday on the rooftop of the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, where they had their first date. The only guests at the intimate, candle-lit ceremony – which took place before a roaring fire, with white roses from the couple's Beverly Hills home – were the bride's three children: Lexi, 21, Troy 19, and Nathan, 13.
"We are living the fairy tale," Gibbons tells PEOPLE exclusively. "We have so much respect for each other and grow stronger together … always so grateful to have been given another chance at love."
Adds Fenton: "Leeza is the most kind person I have ever known. It's that compassion that I see every day in her children. My life is now complete."

Leeza Gibbons has been keeping a secret.
The former talk show host and her beau of two years, Steven Fenton, got engaged in June, she reveals to PEOPLE exclusively.
Fenton, 40, asked Gibbons, 53, to marry him on the lawn of their new home in L.A. before they moved in. "He was on one knee and I was on Cloud 9!" Gibbons says. "I have a ring but we decided that I won't wear it until we have a private exchange of vows."
Gibbons began dating Fenton, who is President of the Beverly Hills Board of Education, after being set up on a blind date two years ago. "In the beginning, the age thing tripped me up for a minute," she says. "I believe in love and I always held onto the belief that I would find it again but I didn't think it would come in the form of Steven."
