He may be PEOPLE's reigning Hottest Bachelor, but Chace Crawford doesn't stand a chance with Leona Lewis.
The singer says she turned down a chance to smooch the Gossip Girl hunk when he appeared in her latest video because she thought it would make her beau, Lou Al-Chamaa, jealous.
"They wanted me and Chace to kiss in the 'I Will Be' video. But I said no way," she tells the U.K magazine Sugar, which goes on sale Saturday.

Lewis, 24, has been with electrician Lou Al-Chamaa since she was 17 and calls him her "best friend" in a new interview.
When she was asked about the "snide bewilderment" that accompanies references to their enduring love, she says, "It does make me angry. Because he's a great person. And it doesn't matter what you do in life, what your job is, where you come from."

Singer Leona Lewis was hit by a fan while signing copies of her autobiography, Dreams, at a London bookstore Wednesday.
Lewis, 24, had been signing autographs at the bookstore for about 90 minutes when "a guy came up and punched her to the side of the head," the pop star's spokesman tells the BBC. Though she didn't need to go to the hospital, Lewis was "understandably badly shaken," her spokesman says.
On Thursday, Lewis wrote on her Web site, "Thank you so much for your support it is truly overwhelming. Yesterday was a horrible shock and left me extremely hurt and upset. I’m very sorry to those I wasn’t able to meet at the signing. Thank you again for all of the lovely messages."
A statement was also issued by the singer's rep, who described Lewis as "shocked" but "okay." The spokesman added, "Leona would like us to convey her thanks to you all for your kind messages and your support."

Originally posted 09/14/2009 08:30AM
Though her new tune's title, "Happy," hints at glee, the lyrics of the song prove Leona Lewis's heart is still mending. On her sophomore record Echo, due Nov. 17, she sings of finding the strength to push through life despite the struggles she knows are inevitable.

Singing lines like, "So what if it hurts me, so what if I break down?" in her powerhouse voice, Lewis proves she's no meek maiden – a fact confirmed by her no-nonsense producer, Simon Cowell. "From day one, since we started working together, we've had this agreement that we can disagree," says Cowell of working with Lewis, 24, on her new album. "And I actually quite like arguing."
