Titanic to Sail Again – But Will You Get Onboard?
Originally posted 02/27/2013 09:15AM
It's the biggest Oscar winner of all time, but it's also a code word for disaster: Titanic.
Now, an Australian billionaire plans to recreate the legendary ship, and charge $1 million for a first-class cabin when his replica Titanic II re-traces the original 1912 route of the great ship that went down.
Once the new ship is built in China, its maiden voyage is scheduled for late 2016 and will hopefully go the full distance from England's Southampton to New York's West Side.
Its furnishings, said its financier Clive Palmer, will include a Turkish bath (just like on the original) and the ornate grand staircase which Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet descended in the 1997 James Cameron movie.
It will also have some things the original didn't: air-conditioning and enough lifeboats.

Leonardo DiCaprio Dances to Kanye West in West Hollywood
Originally posted 01/17/2013 02:00PM
Leonardo DiCaprio may have lost the Golden Globe for his role in Django Unchained, but that didn't stop the actor from enjoying himself a few nights later.
Alongside best friend Lukas Haas, DiCaprio visited West Hollywood hot spot Bootsy Bellows on Tuesday night.
Donning a newsboy hat, DiCaprio mingled with club promoters, while Haas did "his own thing," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Leo hung back and sat on top of the banquette. He was getting a ton of attention from the ladies."
The usually quiet DiCaprio was "upbeat" and "even danced and clapped along" as music from Jay-Z and Kanye West played. And when the actor was approached by other clubgoers, he was "very gracious and chatted with them for a few minutes," the source adds.
Once the lights came on, the two friends reconvened to figure out their plans for the rest of the night.

But a club source at Rosewood said the two were simply out for a little music and dancing with a group that included Naomi Campbell's billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin.

Have you voted? Leonardo DiCaprio wants to know.
With Election Day upon us, stars are flooding the Internet in an effort to get out the vote – urging all U.S. citizens to make their voices heard, regardless of whom or what they support.
Chief among the appeals is a new video from Vote4Stuff, a nonpartisan campaign led by DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire – who are joined by Jonah Hill, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zac Efron, Benicio Del Toro and Selena Gomez, among others, in an amusing montage of civic pride (with a few amusing insults thrown in for good measure).
