Liev Schreiber 'Giddy' Over Dressing in Drag

Dude looks like a lady! In his new role as a cross-dresser, Liev Schreiber explores his feminine side by donning a dress and wearing heels.
"It was exhilaratingly humiliating," Schreiber, who plays a tough, ex-Marine transvestite in Ang Lee's comedy Taking Woodstock (opening Friday), tells PEOPLE. "But I completely became giddy in a strange way the moment I put on the dress."
Overcoming his initial reactions, Schreiber, 41, admits that he suddenly became conscious about his looks and developed a strong desire to feel more attractive. "Vanity quickly set in, and I thought to myself, 'I wish my belly was flatter,' " he says with a laugh. "Let's face it, I don't look great in a dress, but it's nice to hear I have nice legs."

Liev Schreiber 'Spiritually Younger' Since Becoming a Dad

Since becoming a father, Liev Schreiber may have sprouted a few gray hairs on his head but the changes go beyond the external.
The 41-year-old actor says he has become more youthful as a result of sons Alexander (Sasha) Pete, 2, and Samuel Kai, 7 months.
"I feel much older," Schreiber told PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of his film Taking Woodstock on Wednesday. "I'm older physically, but spiritually much younger."

Liev Schreiber had a good reason for missing Tuesday's Los Angeles premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine: His 21-month-old son, Sasha, was sick, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
Schreiber, who plays Sabretooth in the film, immediately flew from L.A. to New York to be with his partner, Naomi Watts, and their two children.

Naomi Watts Talks Sleepless Nights with Newborn

Naomi Watts has said it's easier being mom to a newborn the second time around – but the mother of two is still woozy from lack of sleep.
[I'm getting] no sleep – literally, because I'm feeding all through the night," the actress, who gave birth to a son, Samuel, in December says on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday. "He's still eating every three to four hours."
Asked how she manages to stay alert, Watts, who is promoting her new movie, The International, says, "Oh, I'm not! I'm really never grounded these days. I feel like I'm always five steps behind."

On screen, Liev Schreiber may come across as the strong, silent type. But at home, with his two kids, he's one fun dad.
"A fantastic father," is how partner Naomi Watts describes Schreiber when it comes to their sons, Samuel, born last month, and 1½-year-old Alexander – called "Sasha."
"When daddy's in the room, it's like I don't exist," Watts, 40, tells Entertainment Tonight Canada in an interview to air Monday. "Sasha is all about his dad. He just loves playing roughhouse … One of the things I just loved about Liev right away was that he was so good with kids."

Naomi Watts doesn't need a piece of paper to make her love for Liev Schreiber official.
"We're very much together," the actress, 40, tells Parade magazine. "We just don't have that certificate, and that's OK with both of us."
The couple, who welcomed their second son, Samuel Kai, in December and have an 18-month-old son, Alexander Pete, may one day "just wake up and go, 'Hey, let's do this," Watts says, "And maybe not. He and I have a family."

On Monday – only two days shy of a month after giving birth to her second child – Naomi Watts was close to having back her pre-baby figure, as evidenced at the Cinema Society and Nextbook.org-sponsored New York premiere of her partner Liev Schreiber's World War II drama Defiance.
How did she manage to drop the baby weight so quickly? "I'm breast feeding," Watts, 40, told PEOPLE about her routine with Samuel Kai Schreiber. "And he's sucking it all out of me, it seems. And when the baby comes out, it's a lot of weight right there."

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have revealed more details about their newborn son, starting with his name: Samuel Kai Schreiber.
Samuel – the couple's second child after year-old son Alexander Pete Schreiber – was born Saturday and weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz., the couple's rep tells PEOPLE.
"Both mom and baby are doing great," the rep says.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber welcomed their second child, PEOPLE has learned.
"I can confirm Naomi and Liev had a baby boy yesterday," said the actress's rep.
A couple since 2005, Watts, 40, and Schreiber, 41, already have a baby boy, Alexander Pete Schreiber, born July 26, 2007.
