Lil Wayne is headed to prison Tuesday, but you'll see more of him over the next year than you might expect.
The rapper, 27, had his incarceration on a weapons conviction postponed last month so he could have dental surgery – and he used the extra time to film nine music videos over a 48-hour period, Pop Eater reports.
To further ensure that he doesn't fade from the spotlight, Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., plans to release his eighth studio album, Tha Carter IV, soon after he's released in early 2011.

Lil Wayne is constantly moving. But the hyperactive hip-hop star will find himself suddenly sedentary come Tuesday, when he has to report to prison to serve a yearlong sentence for gun possession.
"I don't like to stop," Wayne, 27, tells Rolling Stone. "I believe you stop when you die."
He says his prison term is God's will for him and everything happens for a reason."I look at things as 'Everything is meant to be.' I know it's an experience that I need to have if God's putting me through it."

Last week, when Lil Wayne, 26, became a father for the second time to baby boy Dwayne Michael Carter III, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, he wasn't handing out cigars in the waiting room. He was right there in the delivery room.
"I delivered him. I held the left leg the whole time," Wayne said Tuesday night at Power 105.1's Powerhouse concert. "It was nasty, very nasty, but it was wonderful. Oct. 22, 9:25 a.m., 7 lbs., 12 oz. He's the best thing to ever happen to me, next to my daughter.”
Lil Wayne's first child, 8-year-old Reginae Carter, belongs to Wayne and his high school sweetheart Antonia "Toya" Johnson.
The identity of the newborn's mother remains private.
