Could 2013 be the year Lindsay Lohan steers clear of trouble with the law?
Attorney Mark Jay Heller, the Liz and Dick actress's lawyer, predicts there will be no case against Lohan in connection with an alleged assault in a Manhattan nightclub in November, the Associated Press reports.
Heller spoke to reporters after signing papers at the courthouse in New York on Monday during Lohan's scheduled misdemeanor assault hearing, which was actually postponed. The actress was not required to attend Monday's scheduled hearing.

In a Jan. 1 episode of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators, the Liz & Dick star invited one of the show's decorators, Kathryn Ireland, to her new Hollywood Hills home for a consultation.
"Darling, it's Gone with the Wind," Ireland says of the house in a sneak peek at the episode. "But smaller, which I like."
Lohan, who had recently moved in when the show was filmed, takes Ireland upstairs to her bedroom. "Clearly, I need more space," she says, motioning to the designer handbags that line the room. "I got bored so I started decorating with Chanel."

Lindsay Lohan Has Probation Revoked, Faces Possible Jail

Six months after Lindsay Lohan crashed a Porsche into a dump truck, prosecutors asked a judge Wednesday to consider finding the troubled actress in violation of her probation in another case.
In response, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Jane Godfrey revoked Lohan's probation – a formality whenever there's an allegation of a violation – and set a Jan. 15 court appearance that could be the next step toward sending Lohan to jail for up to 245 days.
The Liz & Dick star, 26, exercised her right not to attend the date-setting hearing. Her lawyer Shawn Holley appeared on her behalf and denied that Lohan violated her probation in a necklace-theft case.

Things are not looking good for Liz and Dick star Lindsay Lohan.
Less than 24 hours before the well-documented punching incident at an N.Y.C. nightclub that got her arrested, Lohan was "dancing like crazy" past 2 a.m. at The Darby, at one point "causing a scene" when she thought she lost her phone, says an onlooker. "She even demanded that a girl at a nearby table empty her pockets."
The following night, Lohan appeared drunk, according to reports, before she allegedly punched Tiffany Mitchell at a Manhattan nightclub. She is due in court for the altercation on Jan. 7.

And while Lindsay Lohan didn't get rave reviews for playing Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's Liz & Dick, Danielle Fishel as Lohan as Taylor is a different story!
The upcoming Girl Meets World star, 31, in a tight-fitting, cleavage-baring black dress, filmed the skit for E!, telling viewers she "wanted to give you guys a little behind the scenes" of her process pretending to be the 26-year-old star, most famous this week for her bar fight in N.Y.C.
Going into a fictitious drunken tirade, Fishel sobs, screams, laughs and throws empty bottles in-between boozy sips.

There's more legal trouble for Lindsay Lohan.
The same day that the actress was arrested in New York for allegedly punching a woman in a club, charges were filed against her in California in connection with a car accident.
Nearly six months after Lohan crashed her Porsche into the back of a dump truck in Santa Monica on the way to the set of the Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick, she was charged with three misdemeanors by Santa Monica prosecutors.
The charges were obstructing or resisting a police officer, providing false information to a police officer, and reckless driving.

Lindsay Lohan Arrested for Alleged Assault in Club

Lindsay Lohan was arrested and charged with third-degree assault at 4 a.m. Thursday in Manhattan' s Meatpacking District after an alleged altercation with a woman in a nightclub.
Det. Mark Nell of the NYPD told PEOPLE: "This morning at 4 a dispute broke out at Avenue located at 116 10th Avenue. A female 26-year-old assaulted a female 28-year old. Lindsay Lohan was arrested and charged with assault."
Asked what happened, Nell said, "She punched her in the face."
