Courteney Cox & Lisa Kudrow Reunite in the Name of Art
Originally posted 04/30/2013 06:00AM
The cast of Friends isn't reuniting on the small screen, but Courteney Cox and former costar, Lisa Kudrow, held a little reunion of their own on Thursday night.
Making their way to P.S. Arts' LA Modernism Show at the Baker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., the ladies shared a hug when Kudrow – who came with hubby Michel Stern – found Cox in the crowd, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The hug seemed "obviously genuine," the source says. "After talking for a few minutes, Lisa got really excited and tapped Courteney on the shoulder and said, 'Look, my sister's over there!' Then they walked over to see her sister, who it appeared Courteney was also very close with."

Courteney Cox Dreams of Emmy Nod She Never Got for Friends
Originally posted 06/07/2011 01:15PM
Courteney Cox has a secret to tell. All those years when Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow were racking up the Emmy nominations for Friends, and Cox was left out? Yeah, that was a little painful.
"The only time I was like, 'Whoa!' was [in 2001, when Kudrow and Aniston] were both nominated and not me. That's when it's like, 'I have a lesson to learn here,' " Cox, 46, tells TVLine. "I had a hard time not taking it personally when it was both Lisa and Jennifer at the same time … Both girls and not me? It hurt. I'm very sensitive, though."
In all, Kudrow earned six nominations for Friends, Aniston five. They both won once.
Meanwhile, Cox, who now stars on Cougar Town, will have another shot at exorcising those old demons when the 2011 Emmy nominations are announced July 14.
