Turns out the iconic words of Friends' theme song prove true when it comes to real-life pals Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc.
It's been more than 20 years since the wildly popular show launched their careers, but now, with their own hit shows – on which they play somewhat similar characters – the former costars are cheering each other on as nominees for TV's highest honor.

In the heartfelt finale of The Comeback's second season on Sunday, we finally saw Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow) put her personal relationships ahead of her career just as she was about to receive the professional validation for which she was always so desperate.
In an interview with E! News, Kudrow revealed why that final scene made her "physically sick" to the point that it had to be accomplished in one take – as well as the difference between roles for women in TV versus Hollywood.
"That final scene in the hospital … um, something weird happened," said Kudrow. "That was our last night. I felt ill. And I don't usually somatize things … I think I did. … I had to get out of there."
