Elvis Presley's only daughter, Lisa Marie, is now a doting mom to 3-month-old girls Finley and Harper – and she is showing off her tiny additions in the new issue of PEOPLE.
"I really wanted these babies," says Presley, 40, who tried for two years to get pregnant before conceiving the twins.
"My blood was too thick and would clot, which caused several miscarriages," she tells PEOPLE. "The moment I took blood thinners, I got pregnant."

Lisa Marie Presley and husband Michael Lockwood have picked out names for their newborn twin girls: Finley and Harper.
The couple's first children together were born Oct. 7 via C-section and weighed 5 lbs., 15 oz. and 5 lbs., 2 oz. The names were confirmed to PEOPLE by Presley's rep.
Presley, 40, also has daughter Riley, 19, a model, and Benjamin, 15, with ex-husband Danny Keough.

Lisa Marie Presley can't wait to add to her family.
In a Friday posting on her MySpace page, the singer, 40, writes that she and husband Michael Lockwood, 45, are "beyond thrilled and blessed, elated and saturated in happiness" over the twins they will welcome this fall.
The pair will be the first children together for Presley and Lockwood, a musician. The expectant mom, who proudly displays her baby bump in the September issue of Marie Claire, has daughter Riley, 19, a model, and Benjamin, 15, with ex-husband Danny Keough.
In her first blog entry since May, she expresses her gratitude to fans for well wishes to the couple, who wed in January 2006. "Thank you so much for all of the amazing positive energy and beautiful well wishes," she writes, adding, "We love reading them."

Lisa Marie Presley Bares Her Baby Bump

Lisa Marie Presley announced she's expecting twins – and now she's baring her baby bump in a new photo spread in the September issue of Marie Claire.
The reason for exposing herself in this spread? Presley says she's firing back against people who, early in her pregnancy, posted unflattering photos of her and just accused her of having a large, unhealthy appetite.
"They want me to be him," she tells the magazine, referring to her father, Elvis Presley. "It's like they can't wait."
Presley claims "the tabloids were going so far as to alter photos. I could never figure out why they went to all that trouble to make me look fat.
"There are at least six other famous women pregnant right now who aren't getting picked on," she says in the interview. "But they're all over me. It's like there is a campaign to demean me."

Lisa Marie Presley is pregnant with twins, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
"She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time," the singer's mother, Priscilla Presley, tells Entertainment Tonight, which broke the news. "And I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they're having and when it's time to make the announcement."
Presley, 40, who is expected to give birth in the fall, has two teenage children, daughter Riley, 19, and son Benjamin, 15, with ex Danny Keough.
The twins will be Presley's first children with husband Michael Lockwood.

In a new blog post, Lisa Marie Presley, who is expecting a baby, says she's "feeling unusually well" these days – and also addresses an apology issued Friday by Britain's Daily Mail.
"I miss you as much as you miss me, I miss being on the road!" writes the singer on her MySpace Celebrity blog. "I'm feeling unusually well and happy being pregnant thank you. (For those who have asked)."
Presley and her husband, MichaelLockwood, will welcome their first child this fall. The singer also has two teenagers, daughter Riley, 18, and son Benjamin, 15, with ex Danny Keough.

Lisa Marie Presley Wins an Apology

A newspaper has been forced to apologize to Lisa Marie Presley – who is pregnant – over claims she was pursuing a poor diet like her late father, Elvis.
Last month, Britain's Daily Mail published a photo of Presley, dressed down and without makeup, eating with friends in Los Angeles, and the accompanying article said she was "growing just like her dad."
Presley's lawyers sued for libel, and on Friday the newspaper printed an apology: "On March 4 we published a photograph of Lisa Marie Presley while she was dining with friends. We suggested she might have an unhealthy appetite similar to her late father. We now accept that the suggestion is untrue and apologize to Ms. Presley for any distress caused."
