Backstage after Monday's Dancing with the Stars, Wynonna told PEOPLE that she's been on an especially "emotional ride."
Then came Tuesday's elimination, after the singer ended Monday's prom-themed night in last place with only 15 points for her samba with partner Tony Dovolani.
And though D.L. Hughley and partner Cheryl Burke were only one point ahead with their salsa to James Brown's "Sex Machine," Wynonna and Tony are heading home.

Here's hoping one of the closest friendships of the Real Housewives franchise isn't done for good.
Following the dramatic interaction between Kyle Richards, 44, and Lisa Vanderpump, 52, during the Beverly Hills cast's recent reunion special, the Dancing with the Stars contestant told reporters on Monday, "I don't know" if the friendship can be saved, adding, "We all know she's changed her parameters. We'll see where we go."
Questions about the relationship were hurled Vanderpump's way following an unexpected appearance by Richards and fellow RHOBH cast members, Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville, in the DWTS audience.

Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser is up and at 'em again, following the August motorcycle accident that took one of his legs – and nearly his life.
"After eight months of waiting, he walked towards me for the first time two days ago," Moser's wife, Wynonna, 48, told PEOPLE backstage at Dancing with the Stars on Monday, adding that fellow contestant Lisa Vanderpump was one of the first people to walk with him. "It's been an emotional ride for me this week."
Of Moser's prosthetic leg, the country star said, "It freaked me out because I've seen him in a wheelchair and using a walker, and he just walked towards me and I was like, 'Wow.' I was so stunned. I saw the wreck, I saw him lose the leg."

Before the first elimination of the season, my partner Gleb Savchenko and I were around the middle of the leader board but the fan vote was low, which put us in jeopardy. I have a feeling that because The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was airing its final episode and the first part of the reunion at exactly the same hour, we may have lost my fan base.

It's only fitting that Lisa Vanderpump drew Gleb Savchenko as her Dancing with the Stars pro: She's a restaurateur, and he's DWTS fresh meat. But the 29-year old newbie already has a slew of tactics to keep himself from being swallowed up by his dance partner.
"I actually took my shirt off on the very first rehearsal to be like, 'Okay girl, we gotta work it! If you want to be in this rehearsal, maybe I can drag you in by taking off my shirt,' " Savchenko tells PEOPLE of working with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star (and PEOPLE.com blogger). "And she was like, 'I like that! Okay, let's go.' "

Is it easier to do well on Dancing with the Stars if you're a teenager with boundless energy?
Not necessarily, says Zendaya, the 16-year-old Disney star who has dazzled so far this season – but who also ruffled some feathers Monday by saying age is "just a number."
"Using age is almost an excuse," Zendaya told PEOPLE after another brilliant performance. "Age doesn't mean anything. Age doesn't mean I can't work as hard. Age doesn't mean I can't do as well as everyone else. It's just a factor. It's just there."
Zendaya was mostly talking about herself, trying to explain why she's doing so well at such a young age. But some of her older competitors had to laugh at the suggestion that age doesn't mean anything.

Kellie Pickler Heats Up the Competition on Dancing with the Stars

It's only the second week of competition but Monday's episode of Dancing with the Stars was tense and emotional. That's because season 16's 12 celebrities are just a day away from the first elimination.
But Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough, the last couple to perform Monday, pulled out all the stops for their contemporary jazz routine, which earned 26 points.
"You are a dancer!" judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. "That was friggin' amazing!"
"Last week was a spark," Len Goodman added. "This week was a fire."

Wow! I've had an unbelievable week filled with laughter, frustration and much more.
I think we were all a little shell-shocked on Tuesday. Victor, Andy and I clutched each other and thanked God we survived our first night in the Dancing with the Stars ballroom.
