Liv Tyler Celebrates Her 31st Birthday in Paris

Liv Tyler isn't letting her recent separation from British rocker Royston Langdon keep her from having a happy birthday.
The actress, who turned 31 on Tuesday, celebrated by traveling to Paris for a couple of days with her sister Chelsea, 19.
The single mom told PEOPLE she is "excited" about her vacation. "It's my
birthday tomorrow," she said Monday night, at a Paris bash called The Blue Soiree at the Hotel Crillon for Lanvin and Acne, "and I'm going to spend it with my sister and we're going to a Givenchy show. I'm excited to have a little fun here with my sister."

Liv Tyler and her husband, British rocker Royston Langdon, have decided to separate, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
"Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."
Tyler, 30, and Langdon, 36, wed in 2003 in a private ceremony at a villa in the Caribbean. Their son Milo was born in December 2004.

Ah, the suffering some actresses have to endure. On Mandy Moore's first day filming the futuristic thriller Southland Tales, one of the initial scenes she shot was a romantic moment with her costar The Rock (a.k.a. Dwayne Johnson), who plays her husband in the movie. "I had to kiss him on the first day of work," she says. "It was okay to ease myself in by making out with someone on the first day. He's very handsome and he's the nicest guy."

It's hard to imagine Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler – he of the long scarves, tight spandex and distinctive yodeling "y-y-yeahs" – as a grandpa. But with daughter Liv Tyler expecting her first baby (with rocker hubby Royston Langdon) in December, he will be just that. So we just had to ask – what is that like for him? "It's going to be the greatest present that I ever got for Christmas," Tyler told us at the Fifth Annual Celebrity Hat Trick event in Boston, a fund-raiser for Denis Leary's Firefighters Foundation. "What a beautiful thing under the tree, you know? I'm looking forward to it." And what kind of grandpa will he be? "Oh God. I'm going to teach it to fish and just everything. It's funny, I've not slowed down yet, but I'm really looking forward to holding (Liv's) baby in my arms and loving it." Luckily, he doesn't have to wonder what to buy for the little one. "There's a line of clothing with 'Walk This Way' and 'Dream On' and all that I brought her last week," he told us. "Some company out of L.A. is doing them, and they called and asked if we would be all right with it. I looked at (the clothes) and I went, 'Oh my God. Liv Tyler and her rock singer husband, Royston Langdon, are expecting their first child, PEOPLE has learned. Her publicist confirms that she's due sometime next winter. "Roy and I are both overjoyed and look forward to the arrival of our child," says Tyler.
