Johnny Depp Out Until Wee Hours at an Aerosmith-Hosted After Party

It was all good vibes for Johnny Depp on Monday night, when the actor – whose split from longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis was officially announced in June – stopped by a private shindig for Aerosmith at Harry Morton's Pink Taco Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.
At the venue, which Steven Tyler rented out, an onlooker tells PEOPLE Depp was in "high spirits and [seemed to] really enjoy the party."
Mingling with everyone in the room, including Liv Tyler, Jim Carrey and the hosts of the night, Depp, says the source, table-hopped until about 2:00

Liv Tyler highly approves of her rock-star father Steven's choices – both in love and career.
Asked about the American Idol judge's recent engagement to Clear Channel executive Erin Brady, Liv tells PEOPLE that she's an enthusiastic supporter of it, explaining that the two have been together "for a long, long time" and adding, "I like her very much."
Speaking to PEOPLE at the Sundance Film Festival, where she's promoting her new movie Robot and Frank, the actress, 34, also revealed that she's finally following in her father's footsteps – into the music business.

Designer Stella McCartney celebrated the opening of her New York flagship store in Soho with her closest (celeb) pals – and a meat-free menu specially designed by Mario Batali.
Naomi Watts and Liv Tyler spent a lot of time talking together at the event, which also featured a Perrier-Jouët champagne fountain. The vegetarian dinner was playfully served on miniature boats, which floated through a customized table moat that also featured ice sculptures of New York City landmarks and a Manhattan skyline backdrop.
Other guests at the bash: newlyweds David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren, who chatted with L.A. Reid and his wife, and and Kristen Wiig.

Liv Tyler Is 'Hooked' on Idol with Dad as a Judge

Now that American Idol's season 10 premiere week is over, the show can count at least one new fan – judge Steven Tyler's daughter, actress Liv Tyler, who says she is "hooked" on the singing competition.
"I was so excited," Tyler told Access Hollywood of her father's debut. "I've never really watched American Idol – I had seen it once or twice. I just watched with my girlfriends at home the other night and I had goose bumps for an hour-and-a-half and laughed and loved it! I thought it was really special. I think they hit something amazing with the combination [of judges] that they've got."
Tyler joined Jennifer Lopez and Idol veteran Randy Jackson for the show's auditions in New Jersey and New Orleans on last week's episodes – and he made a good impression thanks to his quirky one-liners and laugh-inducing antics.

Liv Tyler Is Just Not That into Dating

She may be single, but dating is not Liv Tyler's forte.
"I've never really dated before," the actress, 33, tells PEOPLE Wednesday night at the Christian Dior 57th Street Flagship opening in New York. "I'm not a very good person to ask about dating."
Since splitting from husband Royston Langdon in 2008, Tyler has been unattached, focusing instead on the other guy in her life: son Milo, who turns six in December.
And it looks like he's pretty easy to please.

It is supposed to be the moms who boast about their kids, but with Liv Tyler and her 3-year old son Milo, the compliments flow in the opposite direction.
"He likes to call me his princess," says Tyler, whose The Incredible Hulk and The Strangers both came out on DVD Tuesday. "He says, 'Oh, mommy, you're so cute. You're my precious, precious mommy.' "
The single mom, who split last spring from her rocker husband Royston Langdon, appreciates the positive affirmation – even if it comes at a price.

• After hanging out at the re-opening of the Burberry store in Beverly Hills, Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler continued their night together, stopping by Hollywood lounge Bardot. The actresses – and apparent BFFs – grabbed a table in the back room, where jazz burlesque band Big Willie's performed. Hudson shared her table with Tyler, and chatted happily with her pal and tablemates Steve Bing and Baron Davis, who went to school with Hudson. Hudson did dance to the music, though, singing along and snapping her fingers to the beat. Tyler danced a little and got chatty with Ryan Gosling, who was there to deejay. She talked with the actor by the stairs, then sidled up to the deejay booth later on to watch him in action.

Liv Tyler: 'I Am Feeling the Pain' of Breakup

Liv Tyler is opening up about the breakup of her marriage – a painful experience that she is still struggling to come to terms with.
"For the first time in my life, it's so much harder for me to get up and brush [off] my knees," the actress tells U.K.'s Harper's Bazaar in its October issue. "I am feeling the pain and the loss of everything," she says candidly about her split last spring with her husband, British musician Royston Langdon.
Coming to terms with the end of her five-year marriage has not been easy for the actress, despite her seemingly serene nature. "I don't feel calm and collected. I feel neurotic, like Woody Allen," says Tyler, 31. "I'm a Cancer and sometimes I just feel like a crab without a shell."

Liv Tyler isn't letting her recent separation from British rocker Royston Langdon keep her from having a happy birthday.
The actress, who turned 31 on Tuesday, celebrated by traveling to Paris for a couple of days with her sister Chelsea, 19.
The single mom told PEOPLE she is "excited" about her vacation. "It's my
birthday tomorrow," she said Monday night, at a Paris bash called The Blue Soiree at the Hotel Crillon for Lanvin and Acne, "and I'm going to spend it with my sister and we're going to a Givenchy show. I'm excited to have a little fun here with my sister."
