Motivated by personal tragedy, former Sopranos star Lorraine Bracco turned her life around with diet and exercise.
In her new self-help book, To the Fullest: The Clean Up Your Act Plan to Lose Weight, Rejuvenate and Be the Best You Can Be, Bracco, 60, recalls how James Gandolfini's untimely death from a heart attack in 2013 was a wake-up call.
The death of her parents, too, weighed heavily on the actress; in 2011, they died within nine days of each other. (Bracco, who played Dr. Jennifer Melfi on The Sopranos, writes in To the Fullest that Dominic Chianese, who played Uncle Junior in the HBO mob drama, sang at their funerals.)

Friends and family are saying their final goodbyes to James Gandolfini.
During the late actor's Thursday morning funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the triple-Emmy winner was remembered by his wife Deborah Lin Gandolfini, family friends Thomas Richardson and Susan Aston and David Chase, the creator and executive producer of the television show that made Gandolfini a household name, The Sopranos.
Also in attendance were Gandolfini's Sopranos costars Edie Falco, Michael Imperioli, Lorraine Bracco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Steve Schirripa, Tony Sirico, Vincent Pastore, Aida Turturro, Dominic Chianese, Joe Pantoliano, Julianna Margulies and Steve Buscemi, his Juror costar Alec Baldwin and God of Carnage costar Marcia Gay Harden, as well as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. The 90-minute service was lead by the Very Rev. Dr. James A. Kowalski.

Tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams are joining Nick & Jessica and Britney & Kevin in the reality TV business. The sisters are filming their lives for an upcoming ABC Family network show to air in July. "Nothing's really been off limits," Serena told us at the 10th Anniversary gala of the D.C. Recreation Wish List Committee, "(except) the bathroom, of course." We'll see the practical joker side of Serena, "who constantly turned on my (car) seat warmer in Florida," says Venus. And possibly Venus's angry side: "I said something about someone. I was really mad at the person, and I made a threat. I wish I hadn't said that, but maybe it will be cut on the editing room floor." Hope not.
