Leonardo DiCaprio Dances to Kanye West in West Hollywood

Leonardo DiCaprio may have lost the Golden Globe for his role in Django Unchained, but that didn't stop the actor from enjoying himself a few nights later.

Alongside best friend Lukas Haas, DiCaprio visited West Hollywood hot spot Bootsy Bellows on Tuesday night.

Donning a newsboy hat, DiCaprio mingled with club promoters, while Haas did "his own thing," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Leo hung back and sat on top of the banquette. He was getting a ton of attention from the ladies."

The usually quiet DiCaprio was "upbeat" and "even danced and clapped along" as music from Jay-Z and Kanye West played. And when the actor was approached by other clubgoers, he was "very gracious and chatted with them for a few minutes," the source adds.

Once the lights came on, the two friends reconvened to figure out their plans for the rest of the night.

Leonardo DiCaprio, who stars in the upcoming Great Gatsby adaption, was one of many celebrity revelers at a Gatsby-themed bash at L.A.'s Trousdale Lounge. The soiree was a birthday party for filmmaker Brett Gursky, and DiCaprio hung out with his usual posse of guys: Lukas Haas, Kevin Connolly and Jerry Ferrara. Meanwhile, Kristin Cavallari was the life of the party, bouncing from group to group. The recent Dancing with the Stars contestant was also soaking up male attention. "She was in a very bubbly mood and used her time to let go and have some fun," a partygoer tells us. Also there: Chris Evans and Mark Salling. – Jennifer Garcia

The singer showed up around 1 a.m., just a few minutes after Greene's departure, and seemed more focused on his entourage than the actual show, which he caught the week before. Greene, meanwhile, sat atop the banquette watching the on-stage shenanigans – which includes dancing Oompa Loompas, live monkeys, goats, and exotic burlesque dancers – as her rumored beau Chris Evans sat nearby.

Leo Focuses on Director Pal During Gisele's New Video

Leonardo DiCaprio showed some post-breakup goodwill Wednesday, as he watched his ex, Gisele Bündchen, sashay her way through a music video.

Why was actor was on hand for a special preview screening of the clip for Blackcowboy's "Come On" – which featured the supermodel's cameo? Simple. The video marked the directorial debut of DiCaprio's longtime friend, Kevin Connolly.

"[Gisele] has been a friend of the band for years," Connelly told PEOPLE. "[She] promised to be in the video a while ago."

And the model's A-list ex certainly turned heads as he walked into the MySpace Celebrity-sponsored event with his all-male entourage including the Entourage star and their mutual pal Lukas Haas.
