Mandy Moore will tie the knot with her musician beau Ryan Adams, her publicist confirms to PEOPLE.
Details on the engagement weren't immediately available. Moore, 24, and Adams, 34, had dated off-and-on since March 2008.
Moore, who supported close pal and ex-boyfriend DJ AM in the wake of his plane crash, has also been linked to musician Greg Laswell, tennis star Andy Roddick, and actors Zach Braff and Wilmer Valderrama.
Adams, a singer, songwriter, producer and author, is best known for his song "New York, New York." Moore's next album, Amanda Leigh – a follow-up to 2007's Wild Hope – will be released May 26.

Mandy Moore is taking it all off for her friend Brett Dennen – or at least her shoes.
The actress just finished shooting the music video to Dennen's new single "Make You Crazy." Dennen, a guitarist from California, teamed with Afro-beat legend Femi Kuti for the song, which last week became the third-most added single across tastemaker stations, behind Ryan Adams's "Fix It" and The Killers' "Human."
The "Make You Crazy" video is about freeing oneself from constraints and being true to oneself. In it, Dennen plays a barefoot shoe-store clerk who is trying to help a difficult customer (Moore). After going through too many pairs, Moore decides she wants to follow Dennen's trend and strips off her own shoes.

Mandy Moore is feeling the Aussie spirit these days.
The pop star, blogging on her MySpace page from "Dan Undah!" (as she calls it), says she's having a blast playing with fellow singer Ben Lee – and, after she opens for Kelly Clarkson, she's looking forward to coming home and "hopefully" finding a "compelling and challenging" movie project.
Says the 23-year-old star in her posting:

Facing an arena of screaming fans or a room full of movie critics – child's play. But taking a trip by yourself? Now that's scary, says Mandy Moore.
"I was always kind of terrified of going on vacation alone," the 23-year-old actress told Reuters at the launch of uPumpItUp.com, a Web site aimed at helping women balance their busy lives. "The thought really scared me, but I wanted to push past that bruise and do it anyway."
So how was it? "I ended up having the most incredible time," she gushed. "It was so peaceful, not having to answer to anyone or take anybody else's opinions into account. It is empowering, and it's such a simple thing to do."

After collecting her ACE Award earlier in the evening, a brunette Mandy Moore flocked to New York nightspot Butter for the club's star-studded 5th anniversary celebration. The singer-actress happily gabbed with some female friends. Also at the Dom Perignon-sponsored bash: Lance Bass, who made his first public appearance with Ben (his new hairdresser boyfriend). He also didn't stray far from his best pal (and frequent Butter companion) Jamie Lynn Sigler, as the two shared a banquette upstairs. And topping it all off, Seal (there with wife Heidi Klum) serenaded the crowd.
