Lucky is the homeless dog that crosses Maria Menounos's path.
The Dancing with the Stars alum rescued six dogs just before Thanksgiving – and she's permanently added three of them to her brood of five!
The massive doggy rescue happened last month when Menounos and her boyfriend found three dogs abandoned by the side of a road. They took the pups to a nearby animal shelter hoping they could locate the dog's owners, but instead, they left the shelter with three more poodles and were charged with finding homes for all six.

Fergie was joined by her mother and a handful of friends when she stopped by The Grove in Los Angeles to make Voli Light vodka cocktails with Maria Menounos last week.
"It doesn't even taste like there is any alcohol in here!" Menounos said after taking a sip of her Créme Bru-LOW cocktail.
While enjoying their drinks, the Extra host grilled Fergie about her next album.
"Fergie talked about she's taking some time to just be 'her' and get inspired that way," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Before they said goodbye, Fergie complimented Menounos on her abs and physique. They also shared a laugh and parted ways.

For many of us, holidays are a time of celebration, fun, and – gluttony!
Ribs, cheeseburgers, creamy coleslaw, sweet ice tea, and beer. Lots and lots of beer.
For some reason, we have come to define a good party by how rich or heavy the food is and how plentiful the margaritas and daiquiris are. The fact is, you can still have an amazing party while being somewhat healthier and more mindful, if you choose.
This past Labor Day my wife and I celebrated at the home of our dear friends, Extra! host Maria Menounos and her partner Kevin Undergaro.

Lisa Rinna had no shortage of celebrity guests come out to celebrate her 49th birthday on Thursday night at her and hubby Harry Hamlin's Los Angeles home.
Joined by her usual group of gal pals – including Denise Richards, Maria Menounos, Nancy O'Dell, Holly Robinson Peete, Garcelle Beauvais and Angelina Jolie's stylist Jen Rade – Rinna treated her 30 attendees to a Mexican-themed fiesta produced by Good Carma Studio in her backyard.
Kitchit chef Meg Hall was on hand to present a generous menu, which included shrimp and guacamole tostadas, chorizo-stuffed squash blossoms, shishito peppers and key lime pie shooters.
"Lisa's daughters and dog were in the kitchen a lot," a source tells PEOPLE. "There were some special items made for her daughter Amelia, [who doesn't eat gluten]. The kitchen was the gathering spot for most of the other guests, too. Garcelle and Denise were in there most of the evening, chatting about their kids."

Derek Hough Predicted His Dancing with the Stars Elimination
Originally posted 05/16/2012 03:00PM
Coming in first place with 59 points out of 60 after two performances on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars clearly didn't make Derek Hough and Maria Menounos a shoo-in for next week's finals – and no one saw Tuesday's elimination coming better than Hough, himself.
"Derek told me, 'Babe, I think we're getting eliminated tonight,' " Menounos, 33, told PEOPLE backstage after she was dismissed from the show. "And I said, 'Really? You think so? I don't think so.' And he [insisted we were], so I said, 'All right, cool, I'm going to prepare.' "
But there were no tears shed when the dancing duo received word that Hough's prediction was spot-on.

With a total of 56 points out of 60 for the night after their two performances, Jenkins was left with a mild back injury and in last place on the leaderboard. Katherine Jenkins's Injury a Disappointment, Says DWTS Partner Mark Ballas
Originally posted 05/15/2012 02:45PM
After an emotional night in the ballroom, Katherine Jenkins, who injured her back during a salsa routine, is getting support from her Dancing with the Stars partner Mark Ballas as well as her competitors.
"She just put her back out," Ballas told PEOPLE after the show. "She can walk so I know there's no bone damage."
In fact, Jenkins, who still managed to score 27 points for the routine, Tweeted later about the injury: "I'm with the Doctor, he says it was a reflectorical spasm in my lower back," she wrote.
