They're attractive, they're romantic, they're young and cool – so much so that since his marriage to the recently anointed Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge he's being called the Dude of Cambridge.
So, who better than Prince William and his bride to grace the Mario Testino-photographed cover of the new Vanity Fair, on New York and L.A. newsstands June 2.
Among the revelations inside: A friend says Catherine is "beyond excited" to be visiting the U.S. next month, and the new groom plans to continue being addressed as Prince William.
Which makes his bride Princess Catherine. So happily ever after.

A picture may be worth a thousand words – but Duchess Catherine and Prince William exchanged very few at their pre-nuptial photoshoots, photographer Mario Testino tells PEOPLE.
Just a month after the picturesque wedding, Testino, who snapped the famed engagement portraits, was at the Museo Del Barrio Gala honoring him and recalled the quiet time – or lack thereof – he spent with the royal couple.
"You know, it's not so much what they say to each other because there is no time," says the fashion photographer, who has shot A-listers like Jennifer Aniston and Madonna. (The Daily also says he will shoot Kate Moss's summer wedding.)
"Everything is compacted into a very short time because we have to produce these pictures. It's more like me screaming and trying to get everything to go."

To go glamorous or relaxed in the world's most-anticipated engagement photos? For Prince William and Kate Middleton, the answer was clear: both!
The newly released photos – the official portrait photographs for the engagement of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton – were captured during a two-hour shoot by fashion photographer Mario Testino, who was hand-selected by the groom-to-be, 28, for the task.
"Prince William has worked with Mario Testino on many occasions before, and so the couple decided that he was the right choice for such an important portrait," said a Clarence House spokeswoman.
Middleton, 28, did her own makeup for the photos (as she did for her televised post-engagement interview), a source tells PEOPLE, though Testino's makeup artist was on hand for touch-ups.
