Producer Mark Burnett has no problem being the target of Jimmy Kimmel's zingers.

Although the Emmys host pointed the finger at Burnett for Donald Trump's transition from the reality television world to politics during his monologue at the awards show, the producer won't be losing any sleep over the farce.

"I've known Jimmy Kimmel for many, many years. He's hilarious, I love him," Burnett told reporters backstage. "It's easy to be a good sport; it's comedy."

It was the worst moment of Jillian Barberie's on-air career.

"I was doing one of those segments where someone from the zoo brought animals to the studio," Barberie remembers. "So I was doing the weather with a bird in my hand, and the handler brought out a monkey. The bird started flapping its wings, which freaked out the monkey. And then that freaked out the bird. There was chaos, and the next thing I knew, my fingernail had been torn right off and was on the floor by my shoes."

For Roma Downey, casting just the right actor to play the Son of God in the The Bible tested even her usually strong faith.

"We actually were only six weeks away from beginning principal photography and we still had not cast the role of Jesus," Downey tells PEOPLE of producing the hit History channel miniseries. "To say that we were anxious is an understatement."

In desperation, Downey sent out an email to friends with the subject line "Looking for Jesus."

"The prayer circle went out and the prayer was answered," the former Touched by an Angel star says of a friend suggesting Diogo Morgado for the role.
