Fresh into his relationship with Taylor Swift, has Conor Kennedy already joined the ranks of her famous ex-boyfriends – including John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas – whose memories with the country crooner play out in her music?
Not so fast, according to one source, who says this love song is still being written, with Swift falling hard for the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy.
"They have been dating for a bit," says the source. "She is swept off her feet."
Age is clearly not a factor – he's 18 and she's 22 – but what may be is the Grammy winner's affection for his extended family. Even before they were spotted getting cozy, Swift made no secret of her fascination with the Kennedys.

Oops, wrong Kennedy!
Over the Fourth of July, Taylor Swift was photographed hugging Patrick Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver's son. But now it appears that Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy, is actually Taylor's love interest. He is pictured just to the right of Swift in the same photo – and the two have been spending lots of time together.
On July 25, Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, enjoyed slices at Kennedy family favorite Marcella's Pizza in his hometown, Mount Kisco, N.Y., and "walked out hand-in-hand," according to a source. Earlier that day, Kennedy was appointed as the administrator of his late mom's $2.1 million-plus estate, according to the Boston Herald.
Days later, the pair grabbed pizza again and visited with his grandmother, Ethel Kennedy. And on July 29, they lunched with friends at Baxter's on Cape Cod where she ate chicken fingers and sat next to Kennedy. Swift "was smiling a lot and she looked happy," says an observer.

In the week since Mary Kennedy's shocking suicide on May 16, dueling versions have emerged about what caused Robert F. Kennedy's wife to hang herself in a barn on her Bedford, N.Y., estate at age 52.
On May 18, two days after his estranged wife died, RFK Jr. told funeral mourners that Mary suffered from "demons." "There's nobody who bore what she bore," said Kennedy, 58. "She was in agony for five years."
It was a point also made by his sister, Kerry Kennedy, who spoke about her friend's lifelong struggle with depression.

A bitter feud has erupted in the wake of Mary Kennedy's suicide last week, with her family and her estranged husband Robert F. Kennedy battling over funeral and memorial arrangements.
Mary's relatives did not invite Robert to a private memorial held Monday in New York City.
This follows acrimony over Mary's funeral on Saturday, which only one of her siblings reportedly attended. Both sides had wanted to take custody of her body, but they let the couple's four children decide.
They chose to have her buried her on Cape Cod, near the Kennedy family's Hyannis Port compound.
