It's been nearly two years since Kate Hudson announced her plans to wed rocker beau Matthew Bellamy.
But if the happy couple need any advice when it comes to love and relationships, well, they have a very valuable source at their disposal.
Hudson's mother, the glowing Goldie Hawn, is weeks away from celebrating her 30th anniversary with partner Kurt Russell on (fittingly) Valentine's Day. And although they may set a decidedly enviable example, Russell says they're not prying into the couple's personal business.
"We stay out of their way, obviously," he told PEOPLE at Friday's Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills, where his Gogi wine label's Pinot noir was served. "But if we find ourselves talking about each other and how we feel about each other, we stand up and we say, 'Wait this is important!' "

Kate Hudson is feeling gleeful.
The Glee guest star, 33, was all smiles when she walked the carpet for the season 4 premiere of Fox's hit show recently – where she gushed about her rocker fiancé, Matthew Bellamy.
"My love is just insanely, incredibly supportive of everything, and that's the best," Hudson told PEOPLE. "Everything is wonderful. Everything is really wonderful."

Skipping the parties preceding the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Reese Witherspoon and hubby Jim Toth opted instead for a double date with some famous pals!
Joined by Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy, along with Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model Kate Upton and a talent agent, the party of six dined at Café Milano in Georgetown on Friday night for three hours.
"They seemed to be having lots of fun," an onlooker tells PEOPLE, adding that Witherspoon laughed throughout the meal and appeared to be in great spirits, while displaying her baby bump in a black dress.
On the menu for the pregnant actress? Fresh baby artichoke, salad in a lemon vinaigrette and spinach fettuccine with veal Bolognese sauce.

Not according to Hudson's mom Goldie Hawn who was recently quoted in an interview saying, "When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn't worry me."
Make that misquoted. Taking to cyberspace to set the record straight, Hawn Tweeted late Monday, "Darling once again twisted the truth. They aren't married."
Hudson, 32, who has been engaged to the Muse front man, 33, for almost a year, gave birth to their son Bingham in July.

The couple, who welcomed son Bingham last July, announced their engagement in April.
And now Hudson's mother, Oscar winner Goldie Hawn, 66, may have let marriage news slip during an interview with the U.K.'s Evening Standard's ES magazine, reports the Vancouver Sun.
"When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn't worry me," Hawn is quoted as saying. "All that matters is that the relationship is a good one."

After spending time in New York where she's filming her new movie, Kate Hudson continued her globetrotting adventures with 3-month-old son Bingham over the weekend.
On Saturday, the two stepped out in London's Notting Hill, enjoying a sunny stroll and some casual family time with Hudson's fiancé, Matthew Bellamy.
And baby Bingham was all wrapped up for his adventure, carried in his mother's baby Bjorn while dad Bellamy pushed the stroller.
Hudson and Bellamy first introduced their son in August, after the Muse rocker shared a picture via Twitter, writing, "Family life!"

Kate Hudson and fiancé Matthew Bellamy are still musing over what to name their new baby boy, born Saturday night, a source tells PEOPLE.
Luckily, they have a bit more time to decide – although the actress, 32, and rocker, 33, plan to settle in London while Bellamy's band Muse works on their next album, they'll remain in Los Angeles while Hudson recovers from the birth.
The Something Borrowed star – who delivered her 7 lbs., 12 oz. son naturally despite having undergone a Cesarean section with Ryder Russell, 7½ – is "doing great," says the source, adding that the couple is "beyond thrilled" with their new addition.

Turns out Kate Hudson's hunch that she was having a girl was wrong.
The actress, 32, and her fiancé, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, welcomed a "healthy baby boy" on Saturday in Los Angeles, Hudson's rep tells PEOPLE.
In January, Hudson announced that she and Bellamy, 33, were expecting a baby, and the couple got engaged in April after dating for about a year.
