Matt LeBlanc Reveals the Unexpected and 'Far Away' Place That Someone Recognized Him as Joey from Friends

It's been 12 years since audiences said goodbye to Friends, but fans around the globe still seem to identify the actors as their characters from the 10-season comedy.
Matt LeBlanc, who starred as Joey Tribbiani on the series, revealed the unexpected and "far away" place that someone recognized him as his character.
"I was in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, shooting a thing for Top Gear," the Top Gear host told Entertainment Weekly. "I mean, we were far away from civilization. And these people were wearing robes, and they live in caves and stuff."

Joey and Chandler – sorry, we mean Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry – reunited this weekend in London, and Friends fans are feeling all sorts of emotions.
On Saturday night, LeBlanc stopped by The End of Longing, Perry's play currently running in the West End, and took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of the two former costars.
"Went to see The End [of] Longing last night and ran into this dude. He and the cast were great. Way to go bro," LeBlanc, 48, captioned the shot.

During a recent appearance on Britain's BBC Radio 2, the actor was asked what his least favorite Friends episode was and Perry – who has struggled with substance abuse – admitted his memory of those times is lacking.
"Oh my goodness," he said. "I think the answer is I don't remember three years of it. So none of those ... somewhere between season 3 and 6."
