Spice Girl Mel C Debuts Her Baby Girl

Melanie Chisholm is showing off the new spice in her life – the first pictures of her newborn daughter.
Chisholm, who gave birth to Scarlet Starr last month, posted the baby photo on her MySpace Celebrity profile Tuesday, and writes on her Web site that she's "hopeful that any media interest will be satisfied and future privacy respected."
Scarlet is the first child for Chisholm, 35, and her partner of six years, Thomas Starr. She plans to donate any proceeds from the picture, published on the cover of the U.K.'s Hello! magazine, to charity.

'Sporty Spice' Expecting First Baby

Melanie Chisholm is ready to spice up her life – with a baby!
The sometime Sporty Spice, 34, and her boyfriend of six years, property developer Thomas Starr, confirmed the pregnancy on her Web site Friday morning.
"Some happy news," she wrote. "I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy."
Mel C. follows in the footsteps of her former Spice Girls bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton – who have all become moms.
