Melissa Rycroft Finds Her True Love, At Last

She didn't end up the winner on The Bachelor or Dancing with the Stars, but Melissa Rycroft is proving she's lucky in love.
Last month, she accepted a marriage proposal from Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland – and the couple couldn't happier.
"Tye is my true love," Rycroft, 26, tells PEOPLE in its new issue.
Seven months ago, Rycroft was engaged to The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick. Their relationship ended when Mesnick broke up with Rycroft on the "After the Final Rose" special so he could pursue a relationship with the show's runner-up Molly Malaney.

Wedding plans are falling into place for Melissa Rycroft – but it's all thanks to the work of her fiancé Tye Strickland.
"Tye is planning more than I am," the former Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars contestant confessed to PEOPLE Monday night at the Verizon Wireless Matt Leinart Foundation Celebrity Bowl at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood. "At this point, I'm probably the worst bride in the history of brides."
But Rycroft, who got engaged June 26 to Dallas insurance agent Strickland, 28, after they dated on and off for more than two years, says she'd rather be a bad bride than a bridezilla.

Former Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars contestant Melissa Rycroft is finally headed down the aisle, proving she may be lucky in love after all.
Rycroft got engaged to Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland on June 26 after they dated on and off for more than two years, PEOPLE has learned.
"He's my best friend," Rycroft, 26, gushed to PEOPLE last April about the 28-year-old agent.
The twosome rekindled their romance after Rycroft's engagement to The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick ended via a televised breakup on the After The Final Rose special on March 2.
