Are you heading to the movies this weekend? We've got you covered!
Our take on the new releases: Labor Day is every bit as gooey a romance as you've heard, but it still works – thanks, in part, to its stars, Oscar winner Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin.
On the other hand, Zac Efron's romantic comedy That Awkward Moment can't quite get over itself – though it does have its moments ... and its merits.
Plus, why you should check out this year's Oscar-nominated shorts.

Can't get enough of Zac Efron? Yeah, neither can we. That's why we let him and his That Awkward Moment costars take over our Twitter – just like they've taken over our hearts.

Zac Efron looked as handsome as ever Wednesday
night at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, the actor's first official public appearance since breaking his jaw last November.
Efron, 26, had no trouble keeping up onstage with his That Awkward Moment costars Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller, with whom he presented the best comedic movie award.
"So, the three of us know just a little bit about awkward moments," Efron said. "In fact, there was this one time that I texted a girl and she didn't text me back for 20 minutes."

That awkward moment when ... we can't stop staring at a photo of Zac Efron holding a cat.
PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the poster promoting his latest comedy, That Awkward Moment, a movie about the trials and tribulations of dating.
"That awkward moment when you realize you're attached to her kitty," reads the poster.
Efron would probably welcome a snuggly feline in his life right about now: The actor broke his jaw last week after slipping in a puddle. Plans to promote the upcoming film, which costars Miles Teller, Imogen Poots and Michael B. Jordan, have not been scratched, despite Efron's broken jaw.

A fit and healthy-looking Zac Efron says he relies on loved ones to help him through tough times, which includes a recently completed rehab stint after his partying lifestyle got out of hand.
"My family's my rock," Efron said at a Culver City, Calif., press event Tuesday to promote his latest film, That Awkward Moment. "I know they're not going anywhere. More and more I've come to rely on my little brother to keep me grounded. He's 21 now."
Efron added of his support system: "I know my family's always going to be there. And there's also – as my life changes, sometimes they can't really be there for you ... and I rely on my friends."

An inside look at our exclusive Ones to Watch photo shoots

For Anna Faris, being named one of PEOPLE's Ones to Watch was doubly exciting – while she was "flattered" to get the honor, the mom of 14-month-old son Jack was just excited to be getting out of the house.
"I have a baby, I don't get to do this very often," the Mom star, 36, told PEOPLE at an event celebrating the honorees at Hinoki & The Bird restaurant in L.A. on Wednesday night.
Admitting she was excited to get inside and enjoy the "amazing food and amazing company" the 36-year-old said "it's surreal" to be named on this year's list alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebel Wilson and country music newcomer Kacey Musgraves.

Whether a goofball comedian like Andy Samberg or an Oscar-contender such as Fruitvale Station's Michael B. Jordan, this year's coveted list of PEOPLE's Ones to Watch has something for everyone.
Samberg, who stars in Fox's new police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, says the family member most proud of his success is his father.
"There's a joke now that my dad will somehow find a way to work into a conversation anywhere with anyone that I'm his son," says the actor, laughing. "Probably to try and leverage it to get free stuff. Where they live that happens about one in every thousand times because no one cares, but bless his heart for trying."
