Tessanne Chin's coach, Adam Levine, alluded to a personal and private burden she'd been carrying this week, but she channeled those raw emotions into her performance on The Voice on Monday, with a searing version of Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" that had the audience on its feet cheering.
Pouring out her heart, the Jamaican power vocalist ended her song with a sustained note that showcased her strength and likely cemented her place in the show's final as the last five contestants battled in the live semifinals round.
"That was crazy what just happened," Levine said. "The sheer talent is just … I think that is probably the most flawless and graceful performance I've ever heard on this show."

Texas teen Danielle Bradbery predicted she wouldn't sleep at all Monday night. But the Swon Brothers said they'd rest peacefully, knowing they did their best on the final night of competition on season 4 of The Voice.
With the winner set to be announced live on Tuesday, Colton and Zach Swon told PEOPLE the night before that they felt like one of the ladies – indie rocker Michelle Chamuel of Team Usher or Bradbery – would take home the big prize.
"We'll be able to sleep tonight, and to see one of these girls win, we would be just as excited," Colton said. "We want to win, don't get us wrong, but they are just great people. The both deserve it."
Added Zach: "Danielle is a little prodigy."
