Michelle Duggar Explains Why She Covered Up While Snorkeling in Puerto Rico

When it comes to swimming, the Duggars have it covered.
On a recent marriage retreat to Puerto Rico filmed for their reality show, TLC's 19 Kids & Counting, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar decided to go snorkeling. But not in typical bathing suits. (Watch a clip below.)
"In society, sometimes there's this idea that we cover up at certain times and then we go to the beach and wear our underclothes," Michelle tells PEOPLE. "Bathing suits are pretty and colorful but it's not our thinking that it is okay to be naked some places and not other places."
The solution is to find something "I feel comfortable in," Michelle says. "I am not feeling exposed in the ways I am uncomfortable with." For the trip, which airs Tuesday (9 p.m. ET) on TLC, that meant covering up in swimwear by WholesomeWear.com.

Josh & Anna Duggar Are Having a Boy!

The girls are about to be outnumbered in Josh and Anna Duggar's house!
The reality stars of TLC's 19 Kids & Counting, who recently announced their third baby is due in June, tell PEOPLE they are having a baby boy.
Along with the rest of the Duggar family, they decided to find out the baby's sex, and filmed the announcement for their show, which airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET).
"We didn't know the results," Josh, 25, tells PEOPLE. "But we gave them [from the doctor] to the sound guy, Jim, and he planned out this very unique reveal. It caught us off guard in a time and place we least expected."

The Duggars Are Considering Adoption

They have 19 children, two grandchildren and one more on the way, but Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar say that doesn't necessarily mean their family is complete.
"We are open to the idea of adoption," Michelle, 45, tells PEOPLE. "We are praying about it, and we will see what God has in store. Love for children has been placed on our hearts."
The ever-expanding crew – eldest son Josh, 25, and his wife, Anna, 24, just recently announced they are expecting their third child in June – were moved by a visit to an orphanage in China on their recent trip there.

The Duggar clan is shrinking – by over 50 pounds.
Jim Bob Duggar, 47, and his oldest son Josh, 25, of TLC's 19 Kids & Counting airing on Tuesday nights at 9, are in a fierce weight-loss challenge with each other.
"I got back from Asia and looked at myself on camera and realized something had to change," says Josh.
Married to Anna, 24, and looking forward to the addition of the couple's third child this summer, Josh says he was at 238 lbs. and not feeling healthy. In October, he started to cut back and make healthier choices – and began to see the weight drop.

The pitter-patter of little feet may sound more like a stampede at a Duggar get-together – and this summer the volume is due to increase.
The famously fertile family of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting have another baby on the way. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's oldest child, Josh, and his wife, Anna, tell PEOPLE they are expecting their third child.
They are already parents to daughter Mackynzie, 3, and son Michael, 21 months.
"It is very exciting," says Josh, 25. "It's fun for Michael and Mackynzie being so close in age and this baby will be, too. We feel very blessed and happy."

Kids, we're not in Arkansas anymore.
One of America's most populous family, the Duggars, visit the world's most populous country, China, as part of a longer trip to Asia captured in a three-episode special coming to TLC in March.
Getting 25 Duggars and their 40 suitcases to the airport is a struggle all its own. But then they tour Japan and China, where the familiar logistical challenges are compounded by the cultural differences.

Only two Duggars? It doesn't happen very often.
Jim Bob, 46 and Michelle, 45, are flying solo in New York this Valentine's Day – celebrating life and the season premiere of their TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting, on Tuesday night at 9.
"Men don't always know what to get for Valentine's Day," Jim Bob told PEOPLE Monday, on the eve of his and Michelle's latest Today show appearance.
"They have these teddy bears everywhere, and Michelle said, 'Please don't get me one of those giant bears,' so I am going to listen to her and take her out to eat. It is really nice to spend some romantic time together in New York."
