It's over for the Jaggers. Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and his estranged wife Jerry Hall have "amicably and formally agreed to separate," their lawyers announced in London late Friday afternoon, after the couple reached "a mutually and acceptable legal and financial settlement." Details of the financial arrangement will remain confidential, the lawyers said, per the couple's demand. The courtroom hearing for divorce of the decade, as the split-up has been called, was canceled in London Friday morning, leaving an army of reporters stranded outside the High Court, devoid of any drama.

Rock legend Mick Jagger's "marriage that never was" with Texan model Jerry Hall was declared "null and void" by a London High Court Judge on Friday. Neither partner in one of the entertainment world's most glamorous and tempestuous relationships was present in court for the legal ending to the roller-coaster affair that lasted 22 stormy years. Top London lawyers Mishcon de Reya, who acted for Princess Diana in her divorce and who represented Hall, said the couple were still friends and "will always be linked through the great shared love they have for their four children."
