After months of trying to negotiate a confidential and amicable settlement with Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore is expected to file a divorce response, putting their case on course for a possible trial, reports the New York Post's Page Six.
The couple, who married in September 2005 in a Kabbalah ceremony at their Beverly Hills home, split in 2011.
Kutcher, 35, filed for divorce in December 2012, but negotiations on a settlement stalled, reportedly over finances, according to the Post – quoting a source who said Kutcher (who last year reportedly earned $24 million year from the CBS hit Two and a Half Men) was "very difficult during the talks. You could even say he has been hostile."

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis couldn't hide their affection for each other at the afterparty for the Oz the Great and Powerful premiere on Wednesday.
Kunis and Kutcher showed up for the soiree at Lure Nightclub in Hollywood around 10:30 p.m. Holding court in a reserved area with friends, Kunis was dressed to the nines, while Kutcher kept things casual in a thick white sweater and baseball cap.
As guests arrived, Kutcher remained seated as Kunis welcomed everyone into the group and made a point to chat with most people. But eventually, they found their way back to each other, with Kunis sometimes sitting on Kutcher's lap and holding hands.

Just days after making it official and filing divorce papers from Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher was spotted out with Mila Kunis on Saturday night.
The former That 70s Show costars visited Fruitzen Frozen Yogurt in Cedar Rapids, Iowa – the actor's hometown, where they are spending the holidays. (As for their dessert choices, Kutcher ordered peach yogurt, while Mila had the orange sorbet.)
Kutcher, 34, filed for divorce on Friday following a separation from Moore than lasted over a year. The divorce papers – which were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court – cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the dissolution of the couple's marriage.

Demi Moore is dipping her toe back in the dating world – with a much younger man.
The New York Post's Page Six column reports that Moore, 50, is quietly dating art world scion Vito Schnabel, 26.
"It's really happening," a nightlife source tells PEOPLE. "There was a time when Vito was kind of cool with [her ex Ashton Kutcher] – so it seems a little weird." The source adds that the pair are expected to be together during Art Basel in Miami Beach in early December.
Schnabel, an art dealer, is the son of painter and director Julian Schnabel. He and Moore were reportedly "dancing and grinding all over each other" at a party in Jodhpur, India, thrown by supermodel Naomi Campbell for the 50th birthday of her billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin, according to the paper's account.

While Kunis has been in town to shoot her new movie, The Third Person, the couple has been spotted taking evening strolls, indulging in local fare, holding hands and sightseeing.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have taken their romance (and appetites) to the Eternal City.
Shielded by a large umbrella, on Sunday the couple was photographed leaving Antica Pesa restaurant in Rome. (Kunis is in town to shoot her new movie, The Third Person.)
At dinner, the pair ordered a number of the restaurant's specialties, including Parma ham crudo and mozzarella, eggplant parmigiana, mini beef sliders, pasta with chickpeas, a salad with marinated anchovies and much more. They also saved room for dessert: a thousand layer pastry with cream and fresh berries. And the couple washed down their meal with a bottle of red wine.

Nostalgic fans of Dorothy, Toto and witches (both good and bad) will soon get to revisit the wonderful world of Oz – this time in a new film from Disney that takes viewers back in time before the beloved wizard behind the curtain found his magical groove.
Disney released its trailer for the ambitious prequel Oz The Great and Powerful, which stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, a small-town circus magician who is swept away in a cyclone to ... somewhere over the rainbow. Diggs thinks he's found fame and fortune in the magical kingdom until he runs into trio of witches who doubt he's the wizard they were hoping for and expecting.
Signing on as witches for the 3-D movie, directed by Sam Raimi and set for a March 8 release, are Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams, who will play Glinda, the good witch of the original classic, The Wizard of Oz.

Talking politics can be risky, but Mila Kunis, Matt Damon and John Cusack are taking a chance on screen.
Kunis's role on That 70's Show is nothing like her new project taking place in the same decade. Kunis will executive produce the CW drama Meridian Hills, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. In the series, a young woman joins forces with other politically motivated women in the Junior League during the women's liberation movement in 1972.
Damon, meanwhile, has signed on for an eight-part documentary series about climate change for Showtime, THR reports. The doc from James Cameron and Jerry Weintraub will focus on the human connection to the environmental conundrum.
