She's already professed her crush on Nick Jonas – now here's proof that Kim Kardashian really loves her tween singers. The reality star was on hand to introduce Miley Cyrus, 15, during KIIS-FM's Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles, but she also took time to pose with the Hannah Montana star backstage. Kardashian raved about the encounter on her official Web site, writing: "We honestly had such a blast! Kendall and Kylie were most excited to see the Jonas Brothers, and Khloe and I were most excited to see Miley Cyrus!"

Miley Cyrus Debuts Her New Single

Originally posted 05/13/2008 06:10AM

Miley Cyrus has been through a difficult few weeks since her Vanity Fair photo flap – but now she's back to doing what she does best: Entertaining.

In her new tune, "7 Things" – which debuted Tuesday on the syndicated radio show Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo – the 15-year-old describes the pain of a recent breakup. In the chorus, she runs through a laundry list of all the things she "hates" about her ex: "You're vain, your games, you're insecure/You love me, you like her/You make me laugh you make me cry."

(Unlike Julia Stiles in 10 Things I Hate About You, Cyrus only makes it to seven.)

Marie Osmond: Billy Ray to Blame for Miley Photos

Originally posted 05/08/2008 01:15PM

Like most everyone else, Marie Osmond has an opinion of the Miley Cyrus photos for Vanity Fair. And it's not positive.

What particularly upsets the entertainer (who is herself a mother), is that such an experienced showbiz parent as Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, would leave his 15-year-old alone during a photo shoot.

"My parents never, never left us alone," Osmond, 48, tells AOL Television. "We always had some form of a guardian or something with us, a guardian that would represent what they would have done."

"I hope you had an awesome time," Cyrus told the crowd after performing her set. "I saw a sign back there that said, 'Miley, I'm praying for you.' I could not be more appreciative. Thank you guys for all your support. Without you, none of this would be possible. I love every one of you and I could not be more appreciative. God bless you."

Miley Cyrus Meets Sen. John Edwards, Skips Red Carpet

Originally posted 05/02/2008 11:40AM

Miley Cyrus may be skipping the red carpet at this weekend's 2008 Disney Channel Games in Florida – "on the advice of her management team," a source tells PEOPLE – but she's keeping plenty busy anyway, hitting the rides, rehearsing for her upcoming performance, and meeting Sen. John Edwards and his family.

On Thursday, Cyrus and her brother Braison rode the rides at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. While in line for the Test Track ride, Cyrus ran into Edwards and his three children. (The senator's youngest two children, Emma Claire and Jack, are Hannah Montana fans who were super eager to meet the star.)

Miley Cyrus has one more person in her corner as people continue to talk about her controversial Vanity Fair photos.

Kevin Jonas Sr., father of the Jonas Brothers, told PEOPLE, "I just feel bad. We love them. We just feel bad [for the family]." Cyrus is pals with the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Joe and Kevin – who have opened for the Disney star on her recent tour.

Other stars coming to Cyrus's defense include: Rosie O'Donnell, the ladies of The Hills, Madonna and Tyra Banks, who said on the View, Wednesday: "She is a 15-year-old, and I just wish everybody would leave her alone!"

Miley Watches 'Sanitized' Version of Sex and the City

Originally posted 05/01/2008 09:30AM

Along with the controversy surrounding her portrait in Vanity Fair, Miley Cyrus has also been criticized for telling the magazine that Sex and the City is her "favorite show!" – and for comparing the racy series to her Disney mega-hit Hannah Montana.

"I love it!" the 15-year-old singer told Vanity Fair of the former HBO series, known for its candid sex scenes and explicit language. "If you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it's dry and they all have distinct characters – that's a thing we try to do on our show."

But sources say the criticism is unwarranted. "The show she watches is completely sanitized. She watches it on TBS," says a source close to Cyrus. (TBS airs an edited-for-TV version of the iconic series.) "[Miley's mom] Tish doesn't allow HBO in the house. They only have basic cable."

Miley to Perform at Disney Channel Games

Originally posted 04/30/2008 03:45PM

She may be under fire for her Vanity Fair and Internet photos, but Miley Cyrus will still be center stage Saturday at the 2008 Disney Channel Games.

The Disney Channel stands by their Hannah Montana superstar, confirming that she will perform at the concert wrapping the weeklong charity event held at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

After some private photos hit the blogs – but before Cyrus apologized for the "embarrassing" Vanity Fair magazine shoot – a Disney exec conceded, "the Internet adds a whole new twist to typical teenage life."

"Being the most famous 15-year-old in the world is exciting but fraught with challenges and exceptional responsibility," Gary Marsh, Disney Channel entertainment president, told the Los Angeles Times about their biggest star before the photo flap.
