Derek Jeter Wedding? Or a Big Error?

Somehow it's hard to picture: Derek Jeter picking out place settings and flower arrangements in between chasing another World Series title.

But that's the word from his hometown paper, the New York Post, which reports the Big Apple's most eligible bachelor for a long time is finally going to settle down with a November 5 wedding to Minka Kelly.

Never mind that the pair haven't even confirmed they're engaged, or that the run-up to baseball's Fall Classic may cut into the Yankee star's wedding-planning commitments: the ceremony is supposedly scheduled for two days after the end of the World Series. Not to mention, the Yankees still have to make it to the Series for the scheduling conflict to be an issue.

Minka Kelly admits she never saw herself as a typical Hollywood sylph – even in her earlier modeling days.

"I never really took the idea of me being a model seriously, because I never thought that I had the body for it," the star of NBC's Friday Night Lights tells the March issue of Health, on newsstands Tuesday. "I'm five-feet-five, and I have a bubble butt and pretty big thighs. So I learned quickly just to be happy with what I've got."

The actress, 28, likes to run to keep in shape and says with a laugh, "If I didn't work out as hard as I do, I'd be really thick. That's also hard, because I love to eat. But it's about wanting to take care of myself, as opposed to wanting to look a certain way. I don't really ever stand on a scale"

Derek Jeter & Minka Kelly Romance Heats up in Texas

With the Yankees out of the playoffs, Derek Jeter has some time on his hands and he's spending it romantically – with Minka Kelly.

The baseball star, 34, and the Friday Night Lights actress, 28, were spotted cozying up together in Austin, Texas, last Wednesday at the live music club, Momo's, to listen to soul singer Dan Dyer.

The twosome looked "together and happy," says one onlooker.

Jeter and Kelly, who's in town filming the third season of Friday Night Lights, also attended the University of Texas football game Saturday night, cheering from the sidelines with baseball vet Roger Clemens.

This isn't the first time the new couple spent time in Austin. They were first spotted together in the hip SoCo section of town last August, sipping coffee together in Starbucks.
