Olympic volleyball sensation Kerri Walsh Jennings has a new partner – and, no, she didn't ditch her husband.
The three-time gold medalist who dominated the sport with teammate Misty May-Treanor since 2001, has announced that she's teaming up with 31-year-old April Ross.
"She's a stud and has been working her butt off for the past couple years," says Walsh Jennings, 34, about Ross, who won a silver medal in the 2012 Games. "I want to be with a winner and that's why I asked her."

History was made Wednesday when Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings won their third consecutive Olympic gold in the women's beach volleyball finals.
"Winning the first gold medal, we were young, sweet, we did it. Winning back-to-back medals is very difficult. To go for a three-peat – I don't know if you could write the script the way it turned out. But we believed," May-Treanor told PEOPLE Wednesday.
May-Treanor, 35, and Walsh Jennings, 33, defeated fellow Team USA athletes Jen Kessy and April Ross in the all-American final.
But even May-Treanor and Walsh Jennings's opponents couldn't help but feel elated for the team who helped pioneer women's beach volleyball.

Two-time Olympic gold medalists Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings took on fellow Team USA mates Jen Kessy and April Ross in Wednesday afternoon's All-American beach volleyball match in London – the first time since the 1996 debut of the sport in the Olympics that two teams from the same country have competed for a gold medal.
And did the golden girls make it three for three? They did!
At the end of the match, it was Walsh Jennings, 33, and May-Treanor, 35, who snagged the top honor from their opponents, landing them their third gold medal – the very first to do so in their sport.
