"Hey, Hillz! Nice meeting you. Lemme write you a song when you run for president!"
That's basically how Katy Perry followed up her meeting with Hillary Clinton at a book signing last Friday. And Clinton seemed down with it, oddly enough.

Where would a former presidential candidate and a pint-sized reality star cross paths?

Barack Obama supporters had plenty to toast to Tuesday night when the President claimed victory over Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
Also saying cheers to the end of a tight election season: Diane Sawyer?
Amid the nail-biting unveiling of the presidential election results, some viewers of ABC's news coverage were just as focused on host Sawyer, 66, wondering on social media if her political celebrating got the best of her. Her seemingly odd conduct was even chronicled by the Associated Press, which noted her slow speech and the way she seemed to hold out her arms to prop herself up as the election night results trickled in.

Barack Obama, who swept to historic victory in the U.S. presidential race four years ago, held on to his job Tuesday.
His victory came in a much more tightly contested election against Mitt Romney – earning four more years in the White House and vowing to usher in a brighter future for the country and its people, many of whom struggled mightily in his first term.
Addressing a crowd of supporters in Chicago, Obama said, "We know in our hearts that for the United States of America the best is yet to come."

Have you voted? Leonardo DiCaprio wants to know.
With Election Day upon us, stars are flooding the Internet in an effort to get out the vote – urging all U.S. citizens to make their voices heard, regardless of whom or what they support.
Chief among the appeals is a new video from Vote4Stuff, a nonpartisan campaign led by DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire – who are joined by Jonah Hill, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zac Efron, Benicio Del Toro and Selena Gomez, among others, in an amusing montage of civic pride (with a few amusing insults thrown in for good measure).

The stars of 30 Rock are getting political – at least in character.
In a new clip from the NBC hit, scheduled to air Wednesday, Tina Fey's Liz Lemon and Alec Baldwin's Jack Donaghy try to sway one undecided voter – Jane Krakowski's character, Jenna Maroney – to cast her vote for their candidate.
"Just one Tweet from you to your fans and [Mitt] Romney wins. It'll be historic. The first really, really rich president," says Baldwin, whose character is a staunch conservative.
