Naomi Campbell Sentenced in Air-Rage Assault

Naomi Campbell was sentenced to 200 hours community service and fined $4,500 on Friday after her guilty plea in court, where she admitted to assaulting two police officers in London's Heathrow airport this April, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The supermodel, 38, admitted guilt to four of the six charges she was facing – two counts of assaulting a police officer; one of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew; and one of using insulting, abusive, threatening behavior or disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The Crown Prosecution Service has decided not to pursue the other two charges.
"Ms. Campbell was aggressive, hostile and violent to people who were simply trying to do their jobs," C.P.S. director Nazir Afzal said in a statement. "Her behavior fell far short of what is acceptable."

While there's ongoing turbulence for Naomi Campbell and her air rage woes, it's still smooth sailing for the supermodel and her latest squeeze.
According to British newspapers, Campbell, 38, has been getting to know a new mystery man. Described as a Russian businessman, the model has so far kept his name under wraps – but there's no denying their affections.
The latest photos show the two holding hands on a gangplank, embracing warmly and kissing as they bob around in the Mediterranean during a boat trip to the Italian isle of Capri. Other shots show them rubbing sunscreen on each other.

Naomi Campbell Charged with Assaulting Airport Officers

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is earning a rap sheet as long as her legendary legs. The 38-year-old catwalk diva has been charged with assaulting two police officers during an alleged luggage incident at Heathrow Airport last month, her lawyer and prosecutors said Thursday.
After reporting to Heathrow police Thursday, Campbell was charged on six counts – three for assaulting a constable, two for using threatening, abusive words or behavior toward the cabin crew and one for disorderly conduct – according to the Crown Prosecution Service.
It was only last year when Campbell, who is scheduled to appear at a west London magistrates' court on June 20, was ordered to attend anger management classes and complete five days of community service after she allegedly threw a cell phone at her housekeeper.

Naomi Campbell was released on bail just after midnight Friday – while London police ponder charges over her alleged airport assault.
The supermodel, 37, was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday, when police were alerted to a disturbance onboard a plane at Heathrow Airport's problem-plagued Terminal 5.
Two sources tell PEOPLE the model spat at cops before being taken into custody for investigation of assaulting a police officer.

Naomi Campbell was arrested Thursday for investigation of assaulting a police officer at London's Heathrow Airport, a source confirmed.
According to Metropolitan Police, officers were "alerted to a disturbance" at 5:11 p.m. at the newly opened Terminal 5, where travelers' frustrations have flared due to baggage delays since opening last week.
"Subsequently, a 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer," a police spokesperson says. "She was taken to Heathrow Police Station where she currently remains in custody."

Naomi Campbell Released from Brazilian Hospital

Naomi Campbell was released from a Brazilian hospital on Friday after successfully undergoing surgery earlier this week to remove what was described as a small cyst.
"The patient has recovered well from her surgery," the Hospital Sirio-Libanes, in Sao Paulo, said in a statement, USAToday.com reports.
"I would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and concern over the past week and for the fantastic service I have received at the hospital," Campbell told PEOPLE through her rep on Friday.
The model also disputed reports that she was hosting a party, saying, "I take my health very seriously, so to suggest that I would host a party following an operation is ludicrous."
On Tuesday, the supermodel's rep confirmed that the 37-year-old had been admitted to the hospital and said she was resting and "looking forward to getting back to work."

Naomi Campbell Remains Hospitalized

Naomi Campbell continues to recuperate in a Sao Paulo, Brazil, hospital after doctors removed a small cyst earlier in the week, says a rep for the facility.
"We have been instructed to not release any information regarding Naomi," a Sirio Libanes Hospital spokeswoman told the Associated Press on Wednesday. "All I can tell you is that she is still at the hospital and that she is recovering very nicely."
On Tuesday, the British supermodel's London rep issued a statement saying, "Naomi Campbell was admitted to hospital [Monday night] to have a small cyst removed. Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank he doctors who have kindly looked after her."
On Wednesday, neither the hospital spokeswoman nor Campbell's publicist, Jeff Raymond, would say how long Campbell, 37, would remain hospitalized, though the Sirio Libanes rep said she was being cared for by David Uip, one of Brazil's leading experts in the treatment of infectious diseases.

In a statement issued by her London representative it is stated: "Naomi Campbell was admitted to hospital [Monday night] to have a small cyst removed. Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank he doctors who have kindly looked after her."
The British supermodel, 37, who often visits the South American country, marked Carnival this month in the northeastern city of Salvador, reports Britain's Guardian newspaper, which also says she is in the Sirio Libanes hospital.
