Was the place-to-be this weekend at the White House – or in Memphis?
Between a very royal wedding and a star-studded D.C. affair, here's what you missed:
5. In Case You've Ever Wondered What It's Like to Kiss Andrew GarfieldSo, this usually plays out a little differently in our dreams ... but on this weekend's edition of Saturday Night Live, things got way sticky and Spider-Man himself needed a little help laying the moves on on-and off-screen girlfriend Emma Stone. Nate Berkus and his fiancé Jeremiah Brent are both designers, so who will be planning their wedding?
Originally posted 08/16/2013 11:00AM
Interior designer Nate Berkus can't say enough about his best friend, Tucker. He's loyal, affectionate, happy-go-lucky – and he likes to chase squirrels.
"Tucker is a mutt," Berkus tells PEOPLE of his dog, who is part cocker spaniel. "We go out to dog parks all the time, and I let him run around to chase squirrels. I don't let him actually catch them, of course, but I'm not sure what he would do if he caught one. It's all about the chase for Tucker."
Watching his best furry bud at play is what prompted Berkus, 41, to join the creative team for the 2013 Beneful Dream Dog Park contest, which asks contestants to submit ideas for a $500,000 Dream Dog Park. Berkus will help choose the winner, and design a park in the city of the winning contestant.

Leave it to an interior designer to know a good plan when he sees one.
Reality TV personality (and Oprah Winfrey pal) Nate Berkus tells PEOPLE why – and when – he decided to marry Jeremiah Brent.
"I've known since our first date that Jeremiah was who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with," Berkus, 41, says.
"As we've shared the news of our engagement and been met with so much excitement and support we're both reminded of how important it is that every person have the legal right to marry the one they love."
