Nick Lachey Is Having Vanessa's Pregnancy Symptoms

Nick Lachey has promised that he'll be a hands-on dad, even before his new baby arrives.
That promise extends to pregnancy symptoms, too.
"I've been lucky, knock on wood, so far – no morning sickness, no anything," Vanessa Lachey, 31, said on Live! With Kelly Friday, adding of hubby Nick, 38: "He's got Pregnancy Dad Syndrome."

Vanessa Lachey was beaming all night while hanging out with hubby Nick at the opening party for Marquee – the Star, a nightclub in Sydney, Australia.
"She was literally glowing," a source says of the pregnant starlet, who also wore five-inch heels to the soiree. She and Lachey spent their evening dancing together and being generally
affectionate – with Nick rubbing Vanessa's belly. They also chatted up Kellan Lutz and discussed how they're preparing for their baby's arrival.
Also at the party: Joe Jonas, Wilmer Valderrama and Ashlee Simpson, who spent the night hanging out with Minka Kelly – a recent companion of Valderrama's.

The Backstreet Boys and New Kids On the Block aren't the only boy bands getting back together.
Pop group 98 Degrees is set to reunite this summer, according to a report.
The group – composed of Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre, expectant father Nick Lachey and his brother, Dancing with the Stars winner Drew – plan to go on a 15-city tour, according to RumorFix.

Looks like mom-to-be Vanessa Lachey (formerly Minnillo) is feeling a little blue.
"I'm excited either way! But I always wanted a boy 1st," Tweeted Minnillo, 31, who is expecting her first child with husband Nick Lachey. "Just a healthy baby."
Later, she clarified, "@NickSLachey & I are praying for a healthy baby First & Foremost! I just always envisioned a boy 1st to take care of his siblings."

With a baby on the way, parents-to-be Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo decided to savor a night out at Tavern in Brentwood, Calif., over the weekend. The "super nice" pair joined another couple for dinner, and everyone listened as Minnillo talked about how wonderful her pregnancy has been. "She has this cute little belly," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

Nick Lachey revealed the news that he and wife Vanessa Lachey are expecting their first child on Live! With Kelly Monday morning.
And when he returned to co-host with Ripa on Tuesday, the excited dad-to-be kept the baby talk going.
Asked if he'll be coaching Vanessa, 31, in the delivery room, Lachey, 38, outlined his game plan.
"I've been told – because that's what happens now, I'm told things – that it's going to be a waist-up situation, if you know what I mean," said Lachey.

After breaking his and Vanessa's baby news Monday morning, Nick Lachey logged on to find a steady stream of congratulatory messages coming his way.
"Thanks to everyone for all the well-wishes! It means a lot to Vanessa and I," the Sing-Off host, 38, Tweeted. "Who's guessing? Boy or girl?"
His wife Tweeted her own note to fans who may have missed the Live with Kelly appearance.
"Finally, Nick and I are ready to share our news ... We have been blessed with a little angel!" the Wipeout host, 31, writes. "We can't wait to meet Baby Lachey!!!"

There's a little Lachey on the way!
Vanessa Lachey (formerly Minnillo) is pregnant, her husband Nick Lachey confirmed on Live! with Kelly, which he co-hosted Monday. Vanessa is due late summer or early fall.
After Vanessa appeared on the show in early January, "she started to feel a little different, not herself," Nick, 38, explained. "So she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!"
The giddy dad-to-be added: "I've had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it's actually here, it's overwhelming."

The Wipeout host, formerly known as Vanessa Minnillo, has officially changed her last name so that it is the same as her new husband's, Nick Lachey.
"When you get caught up with things, it takes time to legally do it, but I'm doing that today," Vanessa tells Access Hollywood. "I got my social security card on Friday … and today, after this, I'm going to get my driver's license."

Will the New Year mean a new baby for Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa?
"I don't think there's necessarily any timetable for it," Nick told PEOPLE while at Tostitos' Party with a Purpose to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.
"We're definitely excited about being parents at some point, but I think whenever that happens, we'll embrace it and be excited for it," says the singer, 38. "There's no real sense of urgency at this point."
While the couple has no immediate plans to start a family of their own, the newlyweds are excited to spend the holidays with Nick's clan in Cincinnati.
