Nicole Kidman Is 'Perfect' to Play Grace Kelly, Says Pal of the Late Princess

Nicole Kidman, who will play Princess Grace in an upcoming biopic, has the seal of approval from at least one important figure in the late royal's life.
"First of all, I know Nicole Kidman. There is nobody more gorgeous," Lynn Wyatt, a close friend of Grace until her death in 1982, told PEOPLE Monday at the 30th Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala hosted by the Princess Grace Foundation-USA at Cipriani 42nd Street.
"She's beautiful inside and out, and she's very sweet," Wyatt – a trustee of the foundation and an honoree Monday night – added of Kidman. "She's very nice – and she's caring. I think she would be perfect."

Nicole Kidman says that – contrary to media reports – she never counseled Katie Holmes in her recent split from Tom Cruise.
"I never spoke to her. I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that," Kidman, who weathered her own emotional split from the star in 2001, tells PEOPLE's Australian sister publication, WHO magazine, for its 20th Anniversary issue, which asked the Oscar winner to look back on her own past 20 years.
Still Kidman, 45, looking resplendent in a five-page pictorial spread – and back to her natural red tresses – says she's grateful for her 10-year marriage to Cruise, 50, because he helped to shape her family, now four kids strong.

If you ask why I am crying, it's because Madeleine Stowe, star of ABC's Revenge, is not among the Emmy nominees. In fact, I am crying just as she would: My eyes are ringed with big, ready-to-drop tears of wrath and sorrow.
Otherwise, the latest batch of nominees is pretty satisfying.
It's great to see Lena Dunham and her fantastic HBO comedy Girls up for best actress and show. (But nothing for the supporting cast?) Dunham, who plays a smart, funny, self-absorbed young writer, is running against her comic antithesis: Zooey Deschanel of FOX's New Girl, on which she plays (and plays very well) a cupcake.

Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban Have Great Time at London Olympic Party

Australian glamour mingled with Swiss elegance on Saturday in London, as Nicole Kidman helped launch Omega House on behalf of the watchmaker, an opening timed to the Olympic Games.
Kidman, 45, and her husband Keith Urban, 44, were the guests of honor at a soiree held by Omega, the official timekeepers for the London 2012.
The couple braved a crowd of enthusiastic fans to get into the building, but later looked relaxed and held hands as they mingled with around 400 guests in the garden, including actors Eddie Redmayne of My Week with Marilyn and Kit Harington of Game of Thrones.
They also watched some Olympic swimming action, and their timing was perfect, as Kidman beamed when Team Australia won the gold in the women's 4x100 relay.

Nora Ephron Remembered by Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks

A true trailblazer, Nora Ephron leaves behind a legacy of always knowing the right (and wittiest) thing to say. She was "an expert in all the departments of living well," according to Meryl Streep – one of many paying tribute to the late author-journalist-screenwriter-director, who died Tuesday at 71.
"You could call on her for anything: doctors, restaurants, recipes, speeches, or just a few jokes, and we all did it, constantly," Streep – who was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role as Julia Child in Ephron's Julie & Julia (2009) – wrote in an email to The New York Times. "Nora just looked at every situation and cocked her head and thought, ‘Hmmmm, how can I make this more fun?'"
Streep wasn't the only celebrity to remember Ephron fondly.

Tom Cruise: I'm Happy with Three Kids

Three is enough for Tom Cruise.
The Rock of Ages star, who is dad to Suri, 6, with wife Katie Holmes, and Connor, 17, and Bella, 19, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, says he's not planning to add to his family anytime soon.
"I'm so happy with three," he tells PEOPLE magazine in an exclusive new interview.
The iconic star, who turns 50 on July 3, plans to spend his birthday with his family while shooting the movie Oblivion in Iceland. For Cruise, time with his loved ones is all the celebration he needs for his major milestone.

Zac Efron spends most of his time barely dressed in the movie Paperboy, but he was fully clothed – and ever so dapper – when he made it out to the afterparty in celebration of his film.
The bash, hosted by Ciroc Vodka and skincare line Erno Laszlo, was also attended by costars Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey, along with Kidman's hubby Keith Urban and Reese Witherspoon. And guests were treated to elegant affair, despite the gritty nature of the movie being honored.
The event was held in a white lily-filled vintage lounge on Carlton Beach in Cannes, where guests sipped vodka and noshed on "every flavor of macaroons," according to a party-goer.
