At her first wedding more than 16 years ago, actress and former Clean House host Niecy Nash tied the knot a in a quinceaçera gown and had "a Styrofoam heart in the middle of the table," she told PEOPLE in January. "It was just a mess."
After months of planning with family, friends, and experts, Nash and electrical engineer Jay Tucker were married Saturday in an outdoor afternoon ceremony at the Church Estate Vineyard in Malibu, PEOPLE has learned. The reception took place in a tent.
"I have to say, this second time around, it feels custom," Nash said about her engagement to Tucker. "Even after I got my divorce, the ink wasn't even dry on the paper, and I said, 'Ooh, the next time I become a wife, I got this thing down pat!' I always believed that there was someone built for me."

Niecy Nash knew fiancé Jay Tucker was the man for her during her run on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, but it will take a little TLC for her to pull off her dream wedding – literally.
"I am telling you, I was so excited to find the man, I didn't even think about planning," newly engaged Nash tells PEOPLE.
Nash, 40, is going to get a little help with that planning: She announced Monday that the TLC network will air a two-hour special documenting her late-May wedding to Tucker, an electrical engineer, as well as the steps leading up to their wedding day, including finding a dress and the perfect venue.
"I am a woman who does not have the bride gene," says Nash. "No bridezilla here! I haven't been planning a wedding since I was three. I have to go to the experts to say, 'What am I supposed to do here?' And me and my mother watch Say Yes to the Dress religiously. So I'm really looking forward to it."

Niecy Nash, who had a small part in The Proposal, tells PEOPLE she is hopeful that Sandra Bullock can find some measure of strength through the adversity of her husband's alleged infidelity.
"I believe that the things that don't kill you make you a stronger and better person," says the actress. "My prayer for her would be that she doesn't stop loving. Don't ever stop believing in love, because it's real, and even though you may have had a tough time with it, hang in there."
