Orlando Bloom's marriage to Miranda Kerr ended this year, but don't think for a minute that this Hollywood hunk has written off romance.
"I'm completely in love with the idea of love. Maybe I'm all misty about it because I'm playing Romeo. But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart connection," Bloom, referring to his just-completed role in a Broadway revival of Romeo and Juliet, tells January's Elle.
It probably helps that his relationship with Kerr post-split has been more than amicable. The duo were spotted lunching together with son Flynn, nearly 3, Thanksgiving weekend and Bloom, 36, recently told E! that he and Kerr "both love and cherish each other."

Orlando Bloom seems to be cozying up to the single life.
It's been less than two months since the Hobbit star and Miranda Kerr announced their separation. But while Kerr is rumored to have already moved on, it appears Bloom's taking things a little slower.
He took a night off from daddy duty on Wednesday, enjoying time out with the guys while celebrating his role in his upcoming film.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr announced their amicable separation earlier this year after three years of marriage. Since then, they seem to be going for the nicest breakup ever.
"We both love and cherish each other," Bloom, 36, told E! Online on Monday at the Hollywood premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, in which he reprises his role as flaxen-haired elf Legolas.
Just two days earlier, he seemingly proved that true when he shared lunch with Kerr, 30, and their son Flynn, who turns 3 next month, in New York City.

It looks as if Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr really meant it when they said they were "amicably separated."
The pair, who announced their split in October after three years of marriage, were spotted in N.Y.C. on Saturday with their son, Flynn, who turns 3 in January.
Bloom, 36, held his son who was clutching a toy sword.

If Miranda Kerr is feeling down about her recent split from Orlando Bloom, it sounds like she has a surefire solution for perking herself back up.
"If I'm having a challenging moment, I jump for joy. Literally," she tells SELF for its December cover story. "After a minute, I feel better, and after a few minutes, I'm really happy. Everything else just drops off. It gets me out of my head and into my body, and it makes me feel present."
Kerr, 30, who publicly separated from her husband of three years last month, accentuated the positive during her new interview – and encouraged others to do the same.
