Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton showed no shortage of lovey-dovey emotion in public together this week.
Starting off Monday at E3's PlayStation Lounge in L.A., the couple took time out of a video game duel – Patton beat Thicke – to sing each others' praises.
"Robin glowed as he spoke about Paula, even calling her his mentor," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "Paula seemed [surprised] by his comment and gave him a big kiss, jokingly saying that this just bought him another 10 years. They continued to gush about each other back and forth throughout the night."
The romantic outings continued on Wednesday, when the upbeat pair headed to Soho House in West Hollywood for the Sundance Institute Benefit presented by Tiffany & Co.
"They told other people at the event that they were on 'date night,' " an attendee says. "They looked visibly excited to spend time together."
The source adds that the couple was able to step out for the evening with the help of a babysitter, who looked over their son Julian Fuego.

Robin Thicke had some famous friends by his side as he celebrated his 35th birthday party at Catch in New York City. The R&B star and wife Paula Patton were joined by Beyoncé and Jay-Z at the soiree.
It was a super-private bash, with only about 20 guests attending. Thicke and his friends were blocked off by security guards, as he didn't rent out the whole venue, and they all enjoyed Armand de Brignac. He did, however, treat fellow diners at the hip restaurant to some tunes, playing deejay for the whole dining room from his iPod.
One VIP-only experience, courtesy new mom Beyoncé? The singer showed off pictures of daughter Blue Ivy during the three-hour dinner party.

Robin Thicke Is 'So Proud' of His Super Sperm
Originally posted 02/11/2010 04:00PM
Bump watch is familiar territory for the women of Hollywood, but when whispers of a possible pregnancy for Paula Patton began circulating in 2008, the Precious star found it particularly painful.
"That's when you realize you do care what people think," she tells the March issue of Women's Health.
Although she was not pregnant at the time – a baby doll dress and a few extra pounds ignited the rumors – Patton, 34, and husband Robin Thicke soon decided to take the plunge and pursue parenthood.
"You can get into that cycle of 'What's next? What's next?' " she says. "But I thought, 'I want to have children and I'm not getting any younger.' "
Because she had been using birth control, Patton admits she worried they would experience difficulty conceiving a baby. Those fears were unfounded, however, for Thicke's "super sperm" did the trick soon after the couple began trying. "He's so proud of himself, it's ridiculous," Patton quips of her husband of four years.
