Saturday was apparently errand day for the smiling Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard and, clinging close to daddy, daughter Gloria Ray, born April 19, as her parents were seen shopping for groceries in their Brooklyn neighborhood.

Not in the mix with them on this cloudy day: Gloria's older sister, Ramona, 5.

As for being a mom, Gyllenhaal has said, "There's no way to prepare for the challenges, the immense joys, the surprises, the disappointments and the shocks. Your heart just rips open. It's amazing."

• Jake Gyllenhaal, rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers during a night out with brother-in-law Peter Sarsgaard at sold-out Dodger Stadium. The guys watched as the home team bested the Cincinnati Reds, 6-2, from the stadium's club seats, and cheered like crazy when Manny Ramirez hit his grand slam. They also grabbed some peanuts and Cracker Jacks – traditional ballpark fare! – and Gyllenhaal was very nice when approached for pictures by fans.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are famously private – and they kept their weekend wedding characteristically intimate, sources tell PEOPLE.

The longtime couple exchanged vows inside the cloister of a convent called the Convento di Santa Maria di Costantinopoli, a luxury bed and breakfast in Brindisi, Italy, before just 40 close friends and family members, including the bride's brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, and his girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon.

A family friend, whom a source says donned a top hat for the occasion, officiated at the half-hour ceremony, which took place at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is cool with onscreen nudity – so long as she's the one in the buff and not her actor-fiancé, Peter Sarsgaard.

"I hate it when Peter does a love scene," the actress, 30, admits in the August issue of Britain's Tatler. "He's very understanding – it doesn't seem to bother him [when I do one]."

She'd like to keep it that way. "I'd hate it [if he was doing it]," she says. "I'd put up with it, I'd understand, but I wouldn't like it."
