Nothing like getting a helping hand – and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have more than one.

But the couple have hired one of Queen Elizabeth's long-standing housekeepers for their new home, Apartment 1a in Kensington Palace, which they plan to occupy early this fall.

She is Antonella Fresolone, 42, who is said to be unmarried, Italian, and already on the job – helping at the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage where William and Kate are living until their larger family home is ready.

Keep calm ... and shut the hell up.

Helen Mirren, in full Queen Elizabeth II regalia, wasn't amused on Saturday when she stormed out of the Gielgud Theater in London's West End, where she currently is playing the lead role as Her Majesty in the play The Audience.

No, it wasn't simply a cell phone going off in the theater that got the Oscar winner's goat – it was an entire troupe of dancing drummers beating their instruments outside while she was performing on stage, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Ah, babies. They bring everyone together – even the royal family!

Well, sort of. In the latest scenario imagined by photographer Alison Jackson, who specializes in spoof photos of the royal family, everyone from Pippa Middleton to Camilla to The Queen gather together to fête Duchess Catherine. The faux mom-to-be unwraps onesies that say "Born to Rule" while her royal family – and one of the Queen's beloved corgis! – look on.

Jackson previously arranged a shoot with Catherine and Prince William's lookalikes for a Christmas-themed photo shoot.

And we're not quite sure, but that we're hoping that might actually be Camilla!

Baroness Margaret Thatcher, who died at 87 on April 8, was honored Wednesday morning at a funeral service in London, where thousands of faithful British fans – and others who had traveled from abroad – paid their respects to the woman who from 1979 to 1990 served as prime minister of England and a heroine to American conservatives.

"It was a cold night, the damp goes through you," Margaret Kittle, 79, told the U.K.'s Daily Mail after she had traveled from Canada to camp overnight to honor Lady Thatcher.

"I always said I would come to the U.K. for Margaret Thatcher's funeral because I respect her," Kittle, a retired nurse, added. "I spent 50 hours waiting for the Queen Mother's funeral, so this isn't the first time I have done this."

Prince William to Stop Flying When Baby Is Born?

Originally posted 03/29/2013 07:00AM

Prince William will reveal soon what he hopes to do once his current tour of duty as a Royal Air Force helicopter rescue pilot ends this summer.

"Changes [in his life] are afoot," a source close to William tells PEOPLE. And while most royal insiders believe that he will signal the end of the idyllic life he and wife Kate have enjoyed in north Wales, the question does arise: What will he do next?

Palace officials are set to unveil that decision in the coming weeks, and he has several options: to stay in the RAF; move to another branch of the military (including possibly going back to the original regiment he joined, the Household Cavalry); or to leave service completely.

Queen Elizabeth has been released after spending two days in the hospital with a stomach bug.

"The Queen has left The King Edward VII's hospital, having been admitted briefly as part of the assessment of symptoms of gastroenteristis," Buckingham Palace said early afternoon Monday, London time.

Royal sources had said Her Majesty, 86, seemed in "good spirits" Sunday, and that the admission to the hospital was strictly precautionary.

Earlier Sunday, she had even given an award for longstanding service to a member of staff, but is thought to have taken a turn for the worse after lunch.

Queen Elizabeth: William & Kate's Daughter Will Be Called 'Princess'

Originally posted 01/10/2013 07:55AM

The Queen has spoken! Wanting to ensure that if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a daughter that she will have a proper title, Her Majesty has issued a formal decree that the royal arrival would be known as a princess.

Up until now, following a century-old decree by George V, only the eldest son of the Prince of Wales's eldest son could have the title prince. That would have meant that any daughter born to William and Kate would have been called "lady."

The declaration was signaled in the London Gazette Wednesday, although the Queen made the decision on New Year's Eve. And the decree covers all future children of the couple.
