Six Hollywood stars allegedly burglarized by L.A.'s "Bling Ring" thieves revealed to a grand jury this summer the creeping horror and sense of personal violation they felt upon returning to homes that had been plundered.
Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, Audrina Patridge and Brian Austin Green each appeared separately before the grand jury, in what would lead to felony indictments for two men and three women. In their testimony, obtained by the Associated Press, the celebrities recounted the details of the home invasions and the losses – financial and emotional – they suffered as a result.
"My front door wasn't locked, and it usually always was," Lohan, 24, said in testimony given two weeks before she herself was sentenced to jail. "My alarm didn't sound, and I usually had to turn it off. And everything that I had was kind of thrown, and everything was pretty much disheveled."

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have officially ended their engagement.
Reports surfaced a couple months ago that the duo were on a break, but now the split is permanent. "Yes, the engagement is off," Bilson's rep tells PEOPLE, but declined to provide details on the breakup.
Distance was reportedly one of the main reasons for the split. With Bilson primarily in L.A., and Christensen in Canada, "It just wasn't working out," says a pal of the actress.
Now Bilson is "focusing on her career, spending time with her family and just moving forward," adds the friend.

While some Hollywood stars are vigilant about guarding their private lives, others are apparently leaving doors wide open.
Suspects in the teen burglary gang – who allegedly made off with more than $3 million in jewelry, clothes and other luxury goods from the homes of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox and at least five other celebrities – gained entry to the homes mainly by finding doors unlocked, according to a search warrant released in the case.
The stars' security was lax in other ways: At Lohan's residence, the suspects broke in by prying open a window using a screwdriver, the documents say. The gang allegedly used basic internet research to figure out where celebrities lived, when they weren't in town, and then watched the homes for the opportune moment to break in.

Rachel Bilson, known for her keen fashion sense, is without most of her stylish wardrobe after someone stole jewelry and designer clothing – including a trove of vintage shoes and her Chanel collection – from her L.A. home.
"She's shaken," a friend of the Jumper actress tells PEOPLE. "She feels violated."
The burglary happened sometime in the last few weeks, while Bilson was in Canada with fiancé Hayden Christiansen, to whom she's been engaged since the holidays.

The women of Sex and the City may have reunited on the big screen, but don't look for the cast of The O.C. to do the same, says Rachel Bilson.
"No," the actress, 26, tells Moviefone.com, shooting down any rumblings of an O.C. movie. "I had somebody else ask me that because of Sex and the City the movie, but I was like, 'No.' I'd watch Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Movie, though."
Concerning her former TV colleagues, Bilson, who played Summer Roberts, says, "Mischa [Barton] I actually ran into. But I don't keep in touch with anyone. I'd like to get together with Melinda Clarke and Kelly Rowan. We were all really close."

Rachel Bilson almost didn't appear in The Last Kiss because she won't do nudity, the actress reveals in Playboy.
"Movies can be sexy or sexual without showing things," the former O.C. star, 26, said in the issue out Friday. "It's almost a deal breaker. The movie was rated R, and they like to put in nudity wherever they can, but I'm pretty strong willed and believe it can be avoided."
